We stayed 3 nights over a summer weekend. The agenda included 2 days ambling along the Holmes County bike trail. Millers burg is about mid-point on the trail, which itself was one of the best we've been on - well maintained and beautiful canopy. We also spent a day driving the scenic Amish countryside in the county. The owner operators... More

The hotel is very quaint, and pleasant. The hotel staff is very polite. There are several historical rooms that make the ambiance special. I highly recommend room 216 that overlooks the old courthouse. If you have stayed at several bed&breakfast places in Amish country, I would suggest a change to downtown. It is a 8 minute drove to Berlin from... More

Thank you for your kind comments. I am glad you enjoyed our courthouse view. The 6 rooms we have which face the courtyard offer a great view, especially when there is an event on the square. Thanks Bill More

Three couples stayed here while riding the Holmes County bike trail in June. The accommodations were homey and met all our needs. It was fun to experience a throw back downtown hotel. Great location across from the Court House and just uphill from the bike path. They kept our bikes in a spare meeting room and there was a nice... More

Thank you for your kind comments. We welcome many guests who ride their bikes along the Holmes County Rails-To-Trails. It is a great opportunity to ride along a flat trail and see lots of Amish buggies in an area where the roads are very hilly and curvy. Thanks Bill More

We love to stay here when we visit the Amish country. On the weekends in the summer they have live entertainment on the brick paved courtyard where you can eat some delicious meals and enjoy a drink while being entertained. Very romantic. The staff is always so kind and friendly. Variety of rooms. All different.

Thank you for your kind review. You are right, there is nothing like relaxing in our Courtyard, enjoying a beverage and great meal, and listening to live entertainment. Even though I work here, it is my favorite place to be on a summer weekend. Thanks, Bill More

I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, restaurant had delicious food for lunch and dinner (no breakfast), beautifully decorated and furnished. This is an old stagecoach inn. When you make a reservation, you choose the actual room where you want to stay. We had a deluxe queen; can't... More

Thank you for your kind remarks. The Hotel was built in 1847 as a stagecoach stop, and for its age it is very well preserved. We have an excellent restaurant staff who work hard to serve fresh and tasty food. Thank you, Bill More

We were passing through and needed a place for just one night. When I seen this hotel I thought it would be great to stay somewhere different than a "normal" hotel. We enjoyed staying in this historic hotel with a lot of charm. They keep the rooms clean and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Having only... More

Beautiful well maintained hotel. Very charming with an exceptional staff. A nice quiet place to stay & centrally located in Amish country. This was our 1st time staying there, but won't be the last! Wonderful menu (lunch&dinner) with great service as well. Several wonderful little shops on the same street to browse.

Millersburg, Ohio just celebrated its bicentennial. The Hotel was built in 1847, several years after the original downtown Millersburg burnt to the ground. The Hotel and its restaurant offer a lot of small town charm, and that attracts a lot of guests who enjoy stepping back in time, while enjoying good food and modern conveniences. We stayed here two nights on a cycling trip. The proprietor was very accommodating and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We were in one of the suites that faced the front of the hotel which had many amenities such as a refrigerator, a microwave, and a fireplace. The only negative was that there was significant... Thank you for your kind response. While our hotel is in the center of town and within walking distance of many nice shops and a brewery, we are next to a busy road. We always try to accommodate our guests when they have a concern with road noise. More

Great historic hotel. Spent one night in a lovely, very spacious room. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well. Would definitely stay again! Only drawback was the room was on the corner of the hotel, which also serves as a very busy, very noisy intersection!

Room 213, which you stayed in, offers a spectacular view of the historic Holmes County Court House, and the Millersburg square. The Court House is illuminated at night, which makes it even nicer. Unfortunately we are adjacent to an intersection of three state highways. We are always willing to accommodate our guests who may have a concern with traffic noise. More

My sisters and I spent one night at the Historic Hotel Millersburg for our wine weekend in Sugar Creek, Ohio. Hotel Millersburg offers three unique suites. My favorite is room 214, a two story loft suite, with views of the historic Holmes County Court House. Our suites easily account 3-6 guests. We are glad you enjoyed one of our suites and we hope you have the opportunity to try another in the future. Thank you, Bill Robinson More
