We came down on Friday August 1st for a family trip to Kings Island and on Saturday and Sunday participated in the End of Summer Beach Bash youth baseball tournament. Our team booked this hotel as it was listed on the “preferred” list and is also listed on Kings Island’s web site. We stayed in room 134. When we first... More

Went on vacation with some family and friends and I was put in charge of arranging the booking of rooms. I booked two rooms at King’s Island Resort in Mason, Ohio. I now have two less friends and my family dislikes me even more than usual. King’s Island Resort reminded me of what Middle Earth must be like when sprinkled... More

Kings Island is more summer camp than Resort. No fitted sheet on the bed, dirty carpets, mildew smell everywhere and really poor housekeeping. The rooms are severely outdated with old, boxy TVs, rickety furniture and ugly decor. It's an easy choice if you're going to the Cincinnati Open tennis event because of the shuttle, but you'll regret staying here just... More

This was the worst hotel! My wife had to clean poop off of the bathroom Sink, toilet & tub, absobutley horrible. The water temp in the shower would go from warm to cold then scoulding hot, burned my grandsons foot. Complained to manager, all we got was sorry! When asked about a discount or refund & was told we would... More

Location. Location. Location. These are the only 3 things this motel has going for it. Luckily for me (and for you) there are many other hotel options in the vicinity. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the shuttle drivers were very friendly and shared valuable information. I have never stayed in a more filthy... More

Drive miles away if necessary as this place is a dump. Nothing was ad advertised. Horrible experience. Supposed to have upgraded linen package. Actually had no mattress pad and flat queen sheets on a king bed. No bath mat or hand towels, no coffee maker, no ironing board (which were stated amenities) and furnishings are old and worn. Entire property... More

We checked in and a few minutes later checked out. Stains on floor, bugs flying around, dirty bed spread with burn holes, smelled awful. And the icing on the cake was the fact that the lock on the door between the two rooms wouldn't even lock. I've stayed in cheaper hotels that were nicer than this.

We first stayed at Kings Island Resort in July and we got lucky that time with a very decent room in Building C. This last stay (checked out yesterday) was totally horrible. There were red stains all over the carpet and what looked like mold on the carpet in front of the refrigerator. Our sheets were not fitted to the... More

I thought this would be a nice place to stay for our family vacation because it was so close to Kings Island. I cried the first night we were there because I felt terrible my family had to stay here! We were supposed to spend 3 nights, but left after 2 Our general feeling is that this place was not... More
