We had a nice stay and enjoyed the campfire provided on the grounds. The balcony was cozy. It is an old facility in need of updating but worked for us. The staff were friendly and reliable. The free shuttle service to the wine festival was a nice bonus.

We stayed here on a hot Saturday night while attending a wedding at the nearby Mohican Event Center. Misty greeted us and was very attentive to our needs. We had some cocktails under the shelter house with our friends who also were staying there. The shelter house is also the location for Sunday breakfast. The grounds were clean, the room... More

Great service and owners. Nice little breakfast in the breezeway. The place is very very rustic. Great new mattresses though! They do need to add some locks. The room we rented for our parents visit from Cali did have a torn screen on the patio and it did kind of smell musty. The door "lock" was a cable that wrapped... More

Our contact Misty could not have been nicer! The room was CLEAN and comfortable - this is an older motel with no 'extras' (like a microwave and/or refrigerator, altho' there is a microwave available during office hours). We didn't care about that - rarely use them anyway. It's a two-story building - no elevator, so ask for a first floor... More

My hat goes off to Misty and Mike aka the owners of the inn. You can not find any better down to earth people as these two. it was beautiful to stay there. at night your invited to spend time around the fire. Meet people from all over the place. it is so good to get away from all the... More

We stayed at Mohican River inn while running a 100 mile ultra marathon at the Mohican State Park nearby. There are some bad things about the place. One, the beds are rather stiff. Two, they didn't have wifi at the time of our stay. BUT the rooms are very clean and the staff are exceptional. The nicest people you have... More

I stayed at MRI last weekend. The staff is fabulous and more than willing to do anything they can do for you. The room is nice, just a little dark and outdated. It is very quiet, you don't hear any other guests or anything...LOVED IT! I loved having the sliding glass door with a screen, so I could keep it... More

The owners are very friendly and work very hard to ensure the guests have a great experience. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The setting is park like, quit and convenient. Chairs around a fire pit at night and coffee, fruit and donuts beneath the pavilion in the morning. Highly recommend this spot.

We've been guests at the Mohican River Inn about four times now. The Inn is clean without exception, however, it is old and in need of repair in many areas. The first stay we had there in fall of 2011 was during an exceptionally cool weather spell. The window units on the ground floors serve as both heat and cooling... More

Quiet, serene , close to nature. Mohican river inn is a quaint, old-style hotel with very few amenities. If you want to get away from the mega-resort style, over priced and over populated chains, this is the place for you. There is no pool (although the campground across the street didn't mind sharing theirs), no spa, no restaurant (but the... More
