My hat goes off to Misty and Mike aka the owners of the inn. You can not find any better down to earth people as these two. it was beautiful to stay there. at night your invited to spend time around the fire. Meet people from all over the place. it is so good to get away from all the... More

We stayed at Mohican River inn while running a 100 mile ultra marathon at the Mohican State Park nearby. There are some bad things about the place. One, the beds are rather stiff. Two, they didn't have wifi at the time of our stay. BUT the rooms are very clean and the staff are exceptional. The nicest people you have... More

I stayed at MRI last weekend. The staff is fabulous and more than willing to do anything they can do for you. The room is nice, just a little dark and outdated. It is very quiet, you don't hear any other guests or anything...LOVED IT! I loved having the sliding glass door with a screen, so I could keep it... More

The owners are very friendly and work very hard to ensure the guests have a great experience. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The setting is park like, quit and convenient. Chairs around a fire pit at night and coffee, fruit and donuts beneath the pavilion in the morning. Highly recommend this spot.

We've been guests at the Mohican River Inn about four times now. The Inn is clean without exception, however, it is old and in need of repair in many areas. The first stay we had there in fall of 2011 was during an exceptionally cool weather spell. The window units on the ground floors serve as both heat and cooling... More

Quiet, serene , close to nature. Mohican river inn is a quaint, old-style hotel with very few amenities. If you want to get away from the mega-resort style, over priced and over populated chains, this is the place for you. There is no pool (although the campground across the street didn't mind sharing theirs), no spa, no restaurant (but the... More

I was unsure about this hotel after reading the reviews but it was not nearly as bad as I expected. The rooms were clean. The owners were super nice! They did have a continental breakfast outside in the morning & supplied firewood for a community fire. The environment there was homey. The biggest negative I had was my bed was... More

In about 5 years this place is going to be a very retro place to visit. Decor straight out of the 70's. Secluded and peaceful but like the other reviews, this was absolutely the worst mattress every to sleep on. Updates are desperately needed in that area. Front desk help very courteous and friendly. Did I mention it was very... More

The hotel was very quiet in a serene setting, it was enjoyable sitting on the balcony to read and relax; however could use better chairs; tables would be nice to put a drink or food on; balcony could have been cleaner. The biggest draw back was sleeping on a bed where you needed to situate yourself around the mattress springs;... More

Stayed at this hotel the night before the Mohican 100 this year., When we first arrived the lady at the front desk was courteous and kind. No complaints there. However, upon entering our room we were pretty disappointed and that's putting it nicely. Besides the fact that the room decor was vintage 70's and the bed was the absolute worst... More
