The atmosphere is great here and the facilities are really nice. The owner and most of the staff are very friendly and it was a very relaxing visit. However, a few areas to improve in my opinion: -The restaurant is way overpriced. The food was pretty decent and atmosphere was very nice inside and service was great, but the menu... More

You are absolutely correct! Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale is one of the most expensive beers we sell. It is aged in bourbon barrels for a long time to give it the bourbon flavor and it is a smaller pour because the alcohol content is higher. Unfortunately, there are times when our power goes out. I'm sorry that we had to... More

This was our third visit to one of the cozy pet-friendly cottages. We love being able to bring our dog, and appreciate the extra care taken in welcoming her as well as us, with her own "cookies" waiting on the table. This is one of the few get-aways where we can really unwind, without the distractions of cell phones and... More

Stayed at the Inn at Cedar Falls with a group of coworkers for an offsite meeting. Highly recommend it for a group like ours especially. The cabins are secluded enough to give you real privacy, but accessible enough to make the walk across the street for chow very easy. The food might not be quite as spectacular as some similar... In this review I am commenting on this facility's restaurant. We have eaten at The Inn at Cedar Falls for many years. Unless you are camping at Old Man's Cave State Park (also wonderful), The Inn is pretty out there from almost any abode. It is not a nearby visit for us -- about a 1.5 hour drive from our... More

We truly appreciate all your wonderful comments about Kindred Spirits, our restaurant. Have you come into the tavern for a before and after dinner drink? It sounds like you have dined with us most every season and for each meal. We look forward to your next trip. More

I've stayed in the cottages plenty of times & always had dinner there. We don't have any complaints. The food is outstanding, cottages are very cozy, & the innkeeper always very accommodating. We enjoy knowing that there isn't the distraction of phones & TV. I always leave feeling rejuvenated! I did read an earlier post about having kids at home... More

We appreciate that you enjoy the limited cell phone use that comes while staying with us and the entire Hocking Hills. As you mentioned, our staff is always willing to help in the office. Also, we have installed a phone for guest use in the common room. Guests can use it free of charge to check in with loved ones. More

Spent New Years Day night at the Inn with my mother after a day of hiking in the gorge from Old Man's Cave to Cedar Falls. Our room, Hummingbird, was clean, comfortable and cozy. We had dinner and breakfast at the inn. Both meals were very good. Especially enjoyed the peace and quiet in the dining room for our evening... More

Glad you enjoyed the peace and serenity we offer not only in the rooms, but the quaintness of Kindred Spirits, our restaurant. It was our pleasure to have you and your mom stay with us. We have lots of women come for mother-daughter getaways. Happy 2015. More

This is our second time staying at the Inn at Cedar Falls. We stayed in one of the cottages on the Sunday after Christmas. After checking in, we noticed as we drove up the short road to the cottages that each one had an evergreen swag by the door and a small lighted Christmas tree in each window. This is... More

Great little inn! Wee stayed in one of the barn rooms, but there are also cabins and cottages! Very clean. Wi-Fi and cell service is very , but that was okay! Great breakfast everyday! There is a little wall from the parking area to your room if you stay in the barn, so pack light!

A hearty breakfast is ideal before you set out to hike. Happy you enjoyed ours each day. Glad you liked your B&B room. Next time try a cozy cottage or 1840's log cabin. More

My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and celebration at the inn and Spa at Cedar Falls. It was wonderful, the staff was attentive and accommodating, the lodging was very nice from the Inn, to the cabins and the cottages. I would recommend it.
