We stayed at this KOA and loved the close proximity to the state park and great hiking. The staff were fabulous, very helpful and professional. The cleanliness and excellent condition of this park is a testament to the hard work of its owner and staff. Our daughters 12 and 20, both loved the gem mining and we spent a rainy... More

Very good KOA. Very clean and well maintained. Great staff. Good restrooms and showers. Pool was nice and clean. Pull through spots are nice, but look for ones with good tree coverage in the summer. Entrance road, likely county or township, is very rough. Take your time. Firewood cannot be brought in by park rules. Onsite sold firewood was very... More

My friend and I went to pan buckets of stones. The buckets were pricey but we had a great time and found some great precious stones. There's also plenty of room for multiple panners. One downside is that the area is wood and therefore is a very attractive area for bubblebees. We were there for a while and didn't get... More

The is a very well kept campground! Some of the nicest campground restrooms and showers I have ever seen. Very clean pool. Only draw back is the long walk to the showers from the tent sites. Home made fudge and they even have pizza and wings .(which is great when it is too wet too cook!) Very close to the... More

Our family of four stayed in the Deer Trail Cabin for 3 nights. It was smaller than we expected but it was still large enough for us all to sleep comfortably. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. All linens were also provided. There is a gas grill, fire ring, table and chairs... More

We stayed over with a large group of friends and family. They stayed in their RV's in full hook-up sites and we stayed in a cabin. We had a blast! It was small enough of a campground that our elementary schoolers could have some freedom and run loose at the camp ground and gem mine. The pool was a hit!... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for staying with us during your recent visit to the Hocking Hills area! We are so glad you enjoyed the campground and we'll most certainly pass along your comments regarding the extra fees. It is mostly done as a way to control overcrowding as we have limited space... We spent three nights over Memorial Day weekend camping with several families on tent sites with electric. It is obviously clear that the staff at the campground work very hard to maintain the grounds and do everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable, including delivering fire wood to your campsite. The bathroom/shower house was amazingly clean, but also amazingly... More

Friendly, hard working staff. Beautiful campground, if you have an RV site. Those sites are scenic, on large site lots with decks or stone patios. Some site amenities include patio style dining tables or picnic tables, two person swing, gas grille, post light and more. Although we have an RV seasonally parked at home, we still enjoy tent camping and... More

My family and I had a wonderful fall weekend at this family-friendly, clean and beautiful campground. Showerhouse and restrooms were very clean, camp sites were very nice and level and overall was a great fall family experience. Well worth every penny! We will very likely return again and soon!

We had a great experience at the Hocking Hills KOA. The campground was very clean, and well managed. We select a campground based on two factors. How close they are to the sights or events we want to visit, How clean and how old are the bathrooms They are very close to everything good in the Hocking Hills area, and... More
