Okay, they are trying... the place does need serious updating. The wallpaper is peeling, the pillows are flat, and the blankets are old. But that stuff all cost money, a lot of it. The people here were very nice. There was a huge ant on the dirty sheets and a cockroach in the bathroom. Our sliding door, that opened to the pool with cigarette butts around it, didn't lock.
