My wife an I stayed at the Kirkwood in on October 24 and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the complementary breakfast in the unique historical home, which consisted of a large variety of both hot and cold items, was very good and much more than the traditional continental breakfast offered by most chain hotels.... more

I found the Kirkwood Inn online and it saved us at least $100 for 2 nights. Good location for Kings Island, Lebanon & Cincinnati shopping, and Springboro dinner theatre. It provides friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms & grounds, and lovely breakfast in an interesting, historic building. more

Wonderful independent inn/motel/B&B. Very clean, minutes from King's Island, lovely grounds and gardens (that's right, gardens!), friendly people, and a breakfast buffet in a charming historical house to boot! The rooms are standard motel layout, but charming, fresh and clean. What a difference being a only a couple of miles away from the park; quiet without a peep of highway... more

We didn't get to go to the Kirkwood Inn. We had to cancel our trip. Their cancellation policy has a 48 hour notification clause. I notified them by email 72 hours in advance of our first stay date. I guess I should have used the telephone. more

The Kirkwood Inn is a quiet place that’s full of charm. Where else can you enjoy a fresh, hot breakfast in a historic home dating back to 1799? The Inn itself is a 2-story building with clean, quiet rooms that are beautifully decorated in warm colors. The carpeting is nice and soft, definitely barefoot-friendly. The air conditioning unit is the... more

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Kirkwood Inn in May, 2009. We'd called ahead, and they allowed us to leave our bicycles at the Inn while we were kayaking, and leave our kayaks while we were bicycling. The room was clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was very, very good. If there was anything wrong, it's... more

My girlfriends and I were delighted with the over-the-top buffet and atmosphere at the Kirkwood Inn. After Key-lime tea cake, fresh fruit, eggs, and Belgium waffles to order with maple syrup, we strolled through the romantic gardens and trails. Then we sipped coffee at the gazebo as we planned a tea for our upcoming wedding. We were so delighted with... more

Hotel was a clean and very nice place to stay. The breakfast was good change from the Motel 6. The three young employees working the front desk were very nice and professional. I recommend this place 100 %. more

Quiet and Clean. Great value - corporate rates comparable to extended stays - quality that of Marriott Courtyard. Business travelers to the greater Cincinnati area are missing a bargain, if they pass up the Kirkwood Inn. more
