Spent two nights here and thought it was a very enjoyable experience. This is a wonderful historic inn in an old town which dates back to the early 1800s. Their list of famous visitors is quite impressive. It is a little more expensive than the B&Bs we stayed in but it was very luxurious and worth the money.

I have not stayed in this inn as an overnight customer, but have been to their dining room several times for meals. The latest visit found me eating lunch on the same day as the Rotary meets there. I was glad to see them as I am a fellow Rotarian from another state. I thought the food was very good... More

The Golden Lamb Inn is an interesting and historical place to consider for a casual getaway. Several floors of rooms that appear all different, and if they are not booked are open for viewing from the door. We have stayed several times and always found it pleasant. As you would expect such an old building has it charm inclusive of... More

This was our first time visiting The Golden Lamb. We had a wonderful one-night stay. The place is steeped in history- especially local history. The staff was attentive and friendly. They acknowledged our anniversary, and we even had a personalized letter waiting for us in our room. We stayed in the Taft room. The furniture, light fixtures, wall paper, etc.... More

This was a unique experience and if you're a fan of U.S. history you will enjoy this lovely Inn. When I completed my check in and was given my room number I went hunting for the room. I passed all sorts of rooms that had the name of the President or dignitary who once occupied it, the doors were wide... More

This is a wonderful historic choice for a quick get-a-way. There are pros and cons wit an old hotel. Pros: - Historic rooms that each have a story. A personalized welcome letter was included with ours that told about the President that stayed in our room. All of the rooms had plaques outside that tell about the historical figure that... More

This is a very beautiful inn, it is the oldest inn in Ohio. It has a very period feel to the inn but has all the modern conveniences that you find in other inn's. It was amazing to stay in a place where presidents have stayed. We stayed in the Harriet Beecher Stowe room, was very impressed with the feel... More

This is a very historic inn. It has been here since customers arrived by stage coach. You can stay in rooms that famous figures in history have stayed. Service is excellent and staff is friendly. The rooms are not large and certainly not modern, but the atmosphere is a delightful trip back in time.
