We stayed at the golden lamb on our first anniversery weekend after first going there on my grandparents 50th. I love historical places and when I seen this place for the first time I fell in love. I've read other reviews and don't agree. Our room was to hot at times. They have done a lot of improvement to the... more

We stayed at the Golden Lamb over Christmas. My grandparents have lived in Lebanon all my life so I've eaten at the Golden Lamb over the years but have never stayed there. I love historic inns, but I have to say that the Golden Lamb as a hotel was a disappointment. The potential's there, but the rooms haven't been kept... more

My husband and I stayed for one night this weekend for a Christmastime getaway. We love historic places, especially haunted ones. We didn't experience any ghostly activity, although the place truly looked the part. Our room was ready about 1 hour prior to normal check-in time. If you come on a weekend, be prepared to wait in line for available... more

Okay, I love History, and I've always loved the Golden Lamb, but the inn has gotten a bit shabby. The rooms are super clean and lots of fun, when you imagine all the cool presidents, etc. that have stayed at the inn. The top floor also has some roped off rooms that are really cool and display the hotel how... more

The Golden lamb is the best and the oldest hotel. I enjoy my stay and enjoy the decor of each and every room. I would stay there again even if it is haunted! The old rooms will give you the creeps at night. And if you listen long enough you will hear children laughing and going down hallways.I enjoy room10... more

Great old Inn in downtown Lebanon. We stayed in the Rutherford B Hayes Suite Rm 14 & 15 $103 plus tax. Two story walkup with no elevator. Large rooms. Window air conditioners, windows old and painted shut, and radiator heat. Phones, TV in sitting room, no wi-fi but there is a coffee shop just down the street that has it.... more

We loved the Golden Lamb...good food good accommodation and sevice. The stairs are a problem for those with disabilities. Nice to stay in a spot out of the high traffic zones and be able to eat on the premises. more

Three of my friends joined me for a two night stay at the Golden Lamb. Our rooms were clean and interestingly furnished with period pieces, but the overall impression was one of genteel shabbyness. Its creaking floors, lack of an elevator, and poor soundproofing between rooms gave it historic charm but also made it less than the norm in lodging.... more

Oldest inn in Ohio they say. But I hope you don't want to turn in before 10PM because the hotel is right across the street from a loud bell tower on city hall that rings until 10PM at night, and hope you don't want to sleep past 8AM because that is when it starts ringing again. Also the all-night truck... more
