I stayed at Shaw's Inn recently for a wedding. It was a very charming, quaint, old-fashioned inn. My boyfriend and I stayed in the "venetian room," which had a gigantic whirlpool tub, comfy bed, and very nice bathroom. It was very clean and had a nice sized mini-fridge, which was great for keeping champagne before the wedding. The location was... More

Loved this place. Theme rooms are a nice touch. Stayed in the Southwest room. Jacuzzi was nice and room was comfortable. The building is the historic type but the hotel is updated. The restaurant was great and offered a variety of food. Short drive to Hocking Hills, OH.

I have stayed at Shaws on business MANY times. Its one of my favortie places to stay. I have gone there with my girlfriend for a wonderful weekend away! The staff are wonderful ( Hi Nancy!!) and treat you very well. Their wine selection is great, I had a 95 Caymus Cabernet that was awesome. The rooms are decorated very... More

We stayed for one night in July at Shaws. It is quite similar to a European boutique hotel, including dim lighting in the small lobby. It's located on a pretty street right in downtown Lancaster, and there's plenty of off-street parking. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with some luxury touches (and reasonably priced, including a free full beakfast).... More

My husband and I went to Hocking Hills for his birthday. We decided to stay at Shaw's Inn. We had never stayed there before and booked Room 5122. This is the most quiet and quank place you will ever go. The room was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast is encluded and you have a full... More

I haved stayed at Shaw's several times. I am from Lancaster, so when I go back to visit relatives, I usually stay at Shaw's. Some people may be reluctant to stay, thinking that it is a B and B, that is more of a house. This is not the case, it is an old hotel that has been redone with... More

Shaw's is a hidden treasure in a small Ohio town. Don't expect a view from your window, you are downtown, but do expect a meal that will live in your memory. Gourmet and perfect food, quiet dining room with romantic ambiance. Staff is welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. This is not a place for children, it is way... More

Shaw's Inn is a very nice place to stay. My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights to celebrate our anniversary. The staff at the Inn and the restaurant were all very kind and helpful. I don't have any specific complaints, but since we stayed at a B&B in North Carolina where the owners went above and beyond,... More

Though I've never stayed as an overnight guest in this charming hotel, I have dined in its fabulous restaurant many times and thus feel confident the hotel service and comforts would be A+++. I regret your Trip Advisories do not mention any of the special dining events that often occur at the hotel restaurant, thus encouraging me to drive to... More
