Stayed here during the week before Valentines Day weekend & we were the only people in the Hotel we usually go on or near Valentines day for Anniversary but weather was nice couple days ahead so we went Hiking in Hocking Hills State Park(had that to ourselves also) then to Lancaster for dinner & spent the night .Front desk was... I am writing this review to let you travelers know that if you are debating between this hotel and any others in the area, the choice is a no brainer. Shaw's Inn makes you feel like you stepped back into the 60's with beautiful architecture, charm, and hospitality. The hotel has an on site restaurant that serves seasonal food from... More

This was the third time my husband and I have stayed at Shaw's Inn in Lancaster. It is our go-to place when we need a quick getaway from the city. This time, we stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms, the Kashmir Whirlpool Room. Below are the Pros and Cons of our stay: Pros: ~Friendly and welcoming staff ~Clean... More

My wife and I stayed here in June for a quick mid-week get away. We found the hotel ( converted to a b&b to be old but well maintained. The suite we stayed in was equiped with bedroom, living room with hot tub and one and a half baths. The food in the resturant was exclellent and the warm cinnimon... More

Thanks for the great Trip Advisor reviews that helped us find this place. My husband and I stayed here for a night and we loved it. Cannot understand the bad reviews, unless the reviewer didn't like the quirks of older hotels, in which case just don't stay here. It is a hotel in spite of being listed as a B&B.... More

We were disappointed in our recent lunch experience here. We were greeted kindly at the front desk and asked to be seated on the patio for lunch. We ordered a bottle of wine and the server had opened it inside and brought it out to us . It was the wrong type and she mumbled unprofessionally and stomped back inside.... More

We stayed at Shaw's Inn & Restaurant overnight whilst travelling from Washington, D.C. to Chicago. The room was clean and tidy although a little small in size. The evening meal we had was excellent as was breakfast the following morning in the outside dining area.

Recent stay at Shaw's Inn was excellent all around. We stayed in the newly refurbished Kashmir room. Room paint and decor reflects a zen-like atmosphere. Flat panel tv and a two person jaccuzi are welcome extras. Bathroom is small but well appointed. Overall the room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was also excellent. We had the Texas... More

My wife and I plus several friends stayed here. We're from Philadelphia and we traveled by motorcycles to visit Hocking Hills. If your going to Lancaster, Ohio or anywhere nearby, stay at Shaw's. We loved it. Our room, the Sonoma, was perfect. Clean and comfortable. The dinner menu was varied and the food was above average and more than reasonably... More
