Traveling with my daughter for a trip to Cedar Point, I was looking for a place close to the park but wouldn't cost and arm and a leg. We found this hidden jewel and couldn't have been happier. Came down to Huron after trying to get a room near Cedar point. Wasnt going to pay more than $150-200 dollars a night for a stupid room, so we decided to try this little motel and got one of the best views of Lake Erie. Owner was friendly. We had a great weekend at the Wild Waves. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were older but clean and comfortable. Lots of property to take a walk on the beach. The MOST beautiful sunset we ever saw! Went to the Huron Basin for entertainment. We will be back.

We made advance reservations for a room with a view. When we arrived we discovered that the only room with a view was given to a regular. The room they gave us was a moldy smelling dump that I would not stay in. We asked for a refund and left. Dont go by what you see on the their web... More
