On a recent drive from Minnesota to Pennsylvania, I booked a room at this Extended Stay America for $36, including taxes, through Priceline ($25 bid). I arrived at 4:00 am and slept until the required check-out at 11:00 am. I needed a cheap bed, and this place provided it for me.
There were a few disappointing things. I would have appreciated even a very basic continental breakfast, but they offered nothing. I would have appreciated free wireless internet access, just to check my e-mail for a few minutes, but they only offered wireless for a fee. Finally, the location was tucked back rather awkwardly into a business park and required some navigation which felt unnecessarily complicated at 4:00 am.
Again, I just needed a cheap bed, and this Extended Stay provided what I needed. But a few extra perks would have been nice, and without them, I see no reason to recommend this place.
