We stayed here for only one night but would have happily stayed longer and will certainly return. We arrived early and Gail was so helpful in letting us dump our luggage before we went off to explore the surrondings. The house from the outside has a charming faded glory look but inside is immaculate - and full of interesting and... More

What a great find. Only stayed for one night, our room was so comfortable with a beautiful view of the gardens. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was scrumptious and would happily stay again .

We booked the Radcliffe House as a base for exploring Freycinet National Park (Which we ended up missing due to bad weather...Tasmania....). The B&B is beautiful, to say the least. It is an old colonial house, well maintained and steeped with atmosphere. Gail and Nigel are extremely friendly and helpful with lots of tips and recommendations. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh... Beautiful, comfortable, every details has been thought of and attended too. Great attention to detail, delicious breakfast. Owners are lovely and friendly and not at all intrusive. We would stay here again!

Ideally placed for the Freycinet Peninsula and the best weather in Tasmania this old colonial homestead has great character but also is set up for modern comfort. Gail is a great friendly host with lots of local knowledge and does very nice breakfasts. We are happy to recommend this B&B to others.

A great location out of Swansea directly off the Tasman Highway. Very friendly proprietors. We stayed 2 nights and borrowed a DVD in the evening. Breakfast was good with a fine selection. Liked the idea of giving your breakfast order with time required so that the cooked element was always ready after the cereals etc.

We booked our accommodation a month or so in advance – a little late considering the time of year that we were travelling. When we drove into the property, a quick sinking feeling was encouraged by the hand-painted this direction sign, and then the glimpse of the roof point peeling off screaming attention needed. But any foreboding was lifted when... More

Very friendly proprietors went out of their way to make us feel at home in their period colonial accomodation. Beautiful location with well kept gardens, handy for exploring Freycinet, Swansea and the Freycinet wineries. We only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Breakfast cooked to order. Highly recommend.

Although Swansea has little to offer, this B&B certainly makes up for it. It is quaint and spacious (except for one room) with charming decor to suit the age of the house. Delightful grounds where several guests lazed in the late afternoon with their bottles of wine - the house just begs you to do it. Wonderful hospitality. A good... More

My wife and I enjoyed an overnight stay in this lovely setting. Bed was firm, room comfortable and hot breakfast was great. Host, Gail, was very helpful and put us onto the local hotel for dinner (which we highly recommend the crumbed Tasmanian scallops).
