We were kept awake all during the night by the creaking floors both in our room and next door. Entry was up steep stairs - door opened straight onto the stairs. Toilet water ran all night. Told it was because we did not know how to press the button!!!!! Light out on the stairs .Advertised licenced restaurant - shut long... More

basic room, everything was clean. there was a heater, however no good positioned outlet to plug in the heater. we didn't need it anyways but wondered how others would have tried to in the dead of winter. A good position in the city because it was in the town centre and we had a very good view overlooking the beach... More

Basic but clean...but went down hill thereafter. Having arrived I found the bedside lamp failed to work and went to reception to ask them to rectify. The co-owner was surly and disaffected from the outset. He asked my room number and I did not know but offered to take him the 30 second walk up the stairs to show him.... More

We stayed in the motel part of the hotel and enjoyed the stay. The views from the balcony are nice and the rooms were snug offering everything you would need including microwave! The walls are pretty thin so not great if you like peace and quiet.

We stayed here in the dead of winter. If you book ahead they will set up the wood fire but we arrived with no booking. The staff were extremely helpful and run by two brothers who both greeted us on arrival. We were giving a fantastic apartment closest to the sea which greeted us with the most amazing view of... What a great location and our villa room was very clean, tidy and had everything a family would need- kitchen + lounge downstairs and bathroom and bedroom upstairs. Wood stove kept both levels warm and toasty until it died after midnight and the cold settled in. Great view of Swansea beach and across to Freycinet, beach to walk along and... More

We stayed there for one night in the self contained 2 bedroom apartments, they were charming yes old but very clean and beautifully charming, nice to have a fire place in the lounge room. We were lucky also that the new restaurant had just opened and we had a fantastic meal in there, the food and service was great and... More

This place was cheap and chearfull and at the time the place was for sale. I must admit it had all the things needed for cooking but the rooms were small and the one we had was as noisy as anything due to the squeaky floors. It was nice to sit out on the balcony and have an evening drink... More

After reading not very favourable reviews on here, I approached my stay at Amos House with some trepidation and concern. I was more than happy with the quality of the accommodation! My room was clean with a great view. I was so close to the town centre and spent hours on the beach virtually on my own. My hosts were... More

We arrived at beautiful Swansea on Valentines Day. We were greeted by one of the brothers who own and run Amos House & Swansea Ocean Villas. Both brothers are lovely and great hosts. We checked in and were given directions to our room. We had been allocated the 'Great Oyster Bay' room (each room was named) and as the name... More
