View was lovely.... Accommodation was basic! The lounge had a strange sour smell that stuck to our clothes! Signs everywhere barking orders about what not to do. TV a relic from the first fleet. Thin walls and old appliances. Not overly clean. The book in the room promised a Lebense menu at the onsite restaurant.... we were handed a menu... More

Great Location and beautiful beach views. Rooms very small, able to hear other guests in their rooms. Beds were not that comfortable and the floor boards creaked. The building is up for sale and not sure how long; It did look a little tired. You couldn't spend more than one night in the room we had No 14

Most of facilities are not working properly. Do NOT trust what you see from the website. It is a trap to rip you off. We spent $225 for one night but none of us could get 1s sleep because of the beeping from the fire alarm every 30s. The owner refused to fix it because “I am not an electrician"... More

We like this small quaint wooden motel located just off the Tasmanian coast at Swansea. The rooms are small but well designed and equipped with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. There are also electric heaters. It is right in the center of the small town and a short walk to a nearby pier. They also managed to squeeze in... More

The view from the balcony is the only thing that rates high in this accommodation which needs lots of maintenance and to be freshened up. Mini oven, two small hotplates, very little in terms of pots and pans, does this even qualify for self-contained? They couldn't even put a new sponge in the kitchen. Unfriendly welcoming. TV from 14th century,... More

It was a freezing night so the log fire and electric blankets were very welcome. It's just by the beach so the view is fantastic, but makes it even colder in winter. The chalets have all you need but are quite tired and not particularly comfortable. The lounge is very oddly laid out (the fire and TV are opposite sides... More

This was not a good experience. Thankfully only one night. Best avoided for all the reasons already stated in reviews. There must be better in the area. Hopefully if sold, the new owners will re-develop...

Our hotel room was small but it was very clean and comfortable and overlooked the ocean. Very peaceful. The hosts were very kind and friendly. The only complaint we had was that the room was over-decorated. We would suggest taking out the artificial flowers and wall decorations from the bathroom/toilet. Also get rid of the lacey curtains above the beds.... More

We were met by "Basil" at reception and he gave us the impression he didn't want to be there or help us with anything. Then things got worse. The stairs to the room are narrow and steep. The hallway floorboards creak all night long. The room was tiny and had an ant infestation. We spoke to Basil and he came... More
