We booked Cottage 3 - two bedrooms, with the kids upstairs on a mezzanine floor. The cottage was lovely and the location and views just beautiful. Good points: - milk in the fridge - fire burning on arrival - heaters on in bedroom on arrival - all the kitchen ware / appliances that you would need for a short stay... More

piermont was not quite what i had invisaged from the website, we stayed in a 2 person cottage which was very charming and romantic, although was less 'private' than i thought it would be. we had dinner at the restaurruant which was a little expensive but had great food. the staff were a little nonchalant, but otherwise very nice place... We stayed in cottage number one. The cottage itself was well appointed, with all we needed for a 4 day stay. Some instructions on how to light the wood burner would have been helpful. And the couch could use replacing. The beds were comfortable. On some days, depending on which way the wind was blowing, the stench was almost unbearable.... More

We stayed here on a cold April. We stayed one night in a self catering cottage which was cosy and nice to have an open fire. The breakfast basket was adequate for our needs. We had a second night in the hotel which was in a modern bungalow of a high standard. The bathroom was massive and of a high... More

All of Piermont's advertising literature describes this as a luxurious resort so we had high hopes when we arrived here. Unfortunately the resort doesn't live up to this claim. We stayed in a one-bedroomed cottage which was close to the water's edge and had a fantastic view out over the Great Oyster Bay to the Freycinet Peninsula. This is where... More

My partner and I stayed for one night and loved it. Yes, we saw millipedes. Yes, we got a whiff of the seaweed on rare occasions. But it didn't matter at all. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The fire was set and ready to go. The greeting at reception was warm and lovely. The 5 course degustation dinner with... More

We stayed in unit 10 which is the weatherboard spa cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful and the view amazing. Unfortunately there was an infestation of millipedes. I'm not talking a couple- we killed over 100. It was like a horror movie!! They ended up in our daughter's cot and we even just found some in our suitcases when we... More

The cottage we stayed in had a fireplace and was made to look like and old Cottage from England and it was so warmly and welcome, even so my partner started the log fireplace in the middle of Summer (mad or what) but it was part of the experience. Some people have commented in their reviews that their is a... More

Was mildly concerned by some reviews citing shabbiness, however the cottage (two couples in a two-bedroom stone cottage) was absolutely charming, well maintained and prepared, especially considering we checked in early. The location was spectacular and peaceful. The restaurant experience was divine, the service excellent, absolutely worth the cost. The only downsides to the stay were the unfortunate river smell...
