We stayed at Meredith House over Easter and when shown the room, we were a little disappointed. Our room was small and a little outdated, reminiscent of B&B's in England. I know everyone raves about the breakfast but I thought it was average and made even less so when one of the hosts and some guests decided to pat the... More

Thank you for taking time to submit your review; we are sorry that our B and B did not live up to your expectations. One of our rooms is smaller than the others, and for that reason is a room that we only let out during busy times such as Easter; or if we have to accommodate people who have... More

My partner and I stayed here just before Christmas and were delighted with a room upgrade upon arrival. It was a very comfortable room with a huge spa bath! The rooms were very clean and were serviced everyday we were there. We really enjoyed the free wifi, the extensive local area information guide was a great help. The previous reviews... More

Neal and Noel run the best B&B we have stayed at anywhere in the world. Their welcoming attitude and accommodating ways with every request make them true hospitality geniuses. Noel's Breakfasts are to die for and you don't need lunch afterwards. Thanks for another great weekend. More

... served in what's probably the best B&B in Australia. If you are traveling along the east coast of Tasmania, best plan for a stay at Meredith House in Swansea. Noel and Neal are your hosts and run the perfect B&B: spacious rooms, tastefully furnished and decorated, free WiFi (and even a desktop if you left your own device at... More

The breakfast alone is worth visiting this place for. For such a small establishment, the breakfasts were exceedingly grandiose. A choice of breakfast cereals, coffee or tea and tinned fruit was on the menu like every other place we visited. But then, there was the fresh fruit salad, yogurt, home made muesli, a porridge with fruit bake, a cooked breakfast... More

We stayed 2 nights at Meredith House. It is clean, the room was good, and the proprietors were helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location is a 5 minute walk to Swansea, which is a lovely town with good views, restaurants, and conveniences. Great location. The major drawback is the bathrooms are tiny. They were added after the building was... More

I'd come back here myself, and I'd recommend people to stay here. The rooms are pleasant, the hosts chatty. It also has a laid back feel, quite like the town itself. I was up here with a couple of friend over the Easter period. It was quiet, and the breakfast was lovely. My friend book us into the place as... More

Noel and Neil are wonderful hosts and keep this beautiful building alive. We stayed in the main building so cannot comment on the added rooms but our front room upstairs was filled with 19th Century charm with all the mod cons you expect - ensuite bathroom, TV ectera. Complimentary port and sherry in the room a lovely touch. More

Loved the homemade breakfast, definitely the draw card...best spread at a b&b I've ever seen. Stayed in the mews and they are nice, clean, and love the port as an extra touch. Nothing glamorous but clean and tidy. I think the value for money is average but it hasn't stopped me from returning. More

My mother and I spent a night at this beautiful old B & B, two adjoining bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other twin singles and a lovely bathroom. Very comfy beds, wonderful accommodating hosts who were very good with feeding my mother who has a number of food allergies. For breakfast our hosts, Neil and Noel (who are... More
