Excellent location, excellent hosts, excellent value. Cozy, clean & comfortable cottage to stay in, beautiful sunsets to watch of an evening. My husbands a repeat stayer here for work & won't book anywhere else when staying in Swansea. Thank you.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at this really delightful place. Lester Cottages are small, cosy, cute, comfortable, just right for two people. Robyn our host was the most delightful person, very helpful and a little concerned that my husband may not fit in the shower as he is well over six feet, but he did. The... More

We had intended to stay at Bicheno but it was booked out so we looked a little further South along the path of our trip. We stayed two nights in Swansea, instead, and the experience was lovely. It was by accident, effectively, that we found Lester Cottages and we are still congratulating ourselves on the happenstance! The cottages are clean... More

We absolutely loved staying here! The cottages are in English style and very cute. The owners put the fire on every day, so you come home to a warm and cosy cottage after a day of exploring the Tasman East Coast. When you go to Swansea, this is THE place to stay. They have a bbq, the views over the... More

This is what I envision a granny cottage would look like, if my granny had a bungalow out back. Very charmingly filled with mauve, doilies and kitch, it was very comfortable and quaint, with very friendly and helpful hosts. The bathroom is functional but tiny, and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat (after staying the... More

We stayed in the oak suite which was quaint and charming with a terrific view of the ocean. The room was spotless with an old English cottage style. We found the hosts welcoming and friendly. The breakfast supplied catered perfectly for our needs and we enjoyed a relaxing bbq at night whilst watching the sun set. The decor and furnishing... More

Charming cottages overlooking the water about 1km from Swansea village. Really comfortable, full of character and very good value. Sadly I understand all the cottages are for sale at present so visit quickly before it's too late. The owners are charming as well.

Stayed in an Oak bed sit cottage for one night. Chose to stay after enquiring about vacancies and found the owner so pleasant, friendly and willing to let us take a look. Only stayed the one night as we wanted to see some other parts of Tasmania before returning to Hobart. The bed was so comfortable and roomy - great... More
