Awesome location right on the beach but this park isn't capitalizing on this opportunity. The premises are old and run down, the hot water tap in the camp kitchen has been disconnected, making washing dishes difficult and there are no hot plates so the only cooking facilities is the user pays BBQ which had no cleaning products and was dirty.... For a short term stay this accommodation was ok,it doesn't compare to other caravan park units on offer around the rest of Tas. The units need an upgrade and as we are in Tas, the pool should be heated. Good placement as this park offers walking distance to beach, city centre , restaurants, cafes, health centre and pubs Overall nice... More

Stayed here for 2 night and thought the place was ok. Cabin was a decent size for 2 people and shower powerful but was a bit run down and had a slight smell. When exploring communal area the games room was run down and half the games broken and out of order. Small swimming pool but a good BBQ area.... More

The two powered sites we had were flat and spacious and only metres from the gorgeous beach. Booking and check in well organised and hassle free. Playground was dated but fun for the kids - though they were disappointed that every game in the games room was broken. The same code for both toilet blocks would be handy :) recommended!

We stayed here for 1 night, 5 of us in a cabin which was quite nice. It had a double room and a room with 4 bunk beds, big sitting/dining room, well equipped little kitchen, tiny byt clean toilet & shower and a nice deck with outdoor chairs. We had a swim in the outdoor pool which was a little... More

The location of this park is positioned right across the road from the beach with several access points. While the park is tired and in need of a facelift (particularly the sites near the beach - fences, caravan pads, old gardens that need ripping out and tidying up) if you overlook the aesthetics you will find the owners very pleasant... Q/s cabin was booked with additional room with two single bed bunks, bed were very comfortable and cabin was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Managers are lovely and happy to assist. Cabin backed into camping area and beach was 50 metres away. Local RSL for dinner was excellent and breakfast at Artifakt in the Main Street. Great location and will... More

We spent 2 nights here....not really expecting anything special for the price we paid. The SC cabin was OK although noticeably run-down, albeit equipped with what we needed. The only item that really annoyed us was the hopeless electric heater with a fixed thermostat set so low, it hardly generated any warmth before it cut out. We did complain about... More

One night in a cabin "water front", but no view as there is a fence and a road. Special price of $95 as end of season and they are closing for maintenance in a few weeks. Very helpful staff, advised us on eating places, gave us a map. Cabin large enough. Everything worked, comfy bed. Sheets and pillows clean. Quilt... More

Polite receptionist very run down park. It's in a good spot but needs lots of maintenance. Games room nearly everything was faulty and filthy. Cabin ok linen clean, beds uncomfortable but be warned keep your shoes on in cabins floors extremely grotty. Very basic accommodation.
