We spent 2 nights here....not really expecting anything special for the price we paid. The SC cabin was OK although noticeably run-down, albeit equipped with what we needed. The only item that really annoyed us was the hopeless electric heater with a fixed thermostat set so low, it hardly generated any warmth before it cut out. We did complain about... More

One night in a cabin "water front", but no view as there is a fence and a road. Special price of $95 as end of season and they are closing for maintenance in a few weeks. Very helpful staff, advised us on eating places, gave us a map. Cabin large enough. Everything worked, comfy bed. Sheets and pillows clean. Quilt... More

Polite receptionist very run down park. It's in a good spot but needs lots of maintenance. Games room nearly everything was faulty and filthy. Cabin ok linen clean, beds uncomfortable but be warned keep your shoes on in cabins floors extremely grotty. Very basic accommodation.

I think an average rating is spot on for this accommodation. From check in to check out the staff are a little stand offish and are there to hand you your sheets and towels. The units are quite "cosy" and bit of a face lift wouldn't go astray. They are clean enough to feel comfortable and are OK if you... More

We had a grassy, powered site for our small camper van. It's a nice, friendly campsite very close to the beach and only a short walk into town. There is also a lovely walk round the headland with views of the town and across the bay to Freycinet. The facilities are not brand new but we found them clean and... More

We paid $160 a night. Smallest, uncomfortable place I've ever stayed. The toilet flushed when it felt like it, you couldn't stand near the plug hole in the shower for dear of it collapsing, the door was so noisy it would have woke the dead, the ledge at the door was so high we tripped over it all weekend, the... This park is perfectly situated by the bay in beautiful Swansea but is desperately in need of some love and attention to its slightly rundown but otherwise clean facilities. Also, at $50 per night for a powered camp site for a family of 5 it is about 20% more expensive than it should be compared to better appointed caravan and... More

Stayed in our own caravan at the Swansea Holiday Park on a lovely grassed site. Holiday park as powered and unpowered sites as well as cabins. Out our "back door" was the start of a walking track around the heads. Saw a seal in the bay and an elephant fish. Picturesque Freycinet was just over the bay - almost close... More

The beach at Swansea is not as attractive as others with white sand further north on the east coast, but the track into town which goes around the golf course right next to the sea is worth a walk. The track itself has a long Aboriginal name which unfortunately I have not memorised, but if you google Wellington Point Walk,... More

$35 for a powered site, very overpriced for what you get. Park is small and facilities desperately need attention. Such a shame, as Swansea is a quiet little sea side town. Would have stayed longer if park was in better condition.
