Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Stayed in an executive room upstairs next to reception. The room is quite dated but adequate. The King Bed was comfortable with nice linen. The lounge needs replacing. The view is amazing looking over the harbour. Overall a nice room but could do with an update especially for the price. RACT NRMA etc members... More

We stayed in Room 2206 up the hill. The view of the port of Strahan was fantastic and the room itself was spacious. A very comfortable bed and plenty of room. We weren't able to use the Wifi, despite asking for assistance. It was basically left as "our problem" because no one else had complained. I guess this is a... More

The colour of these rooms was a bit outdated.(orange and brown) but once you overlooked that the room and the bed were very comfortable. We were right next to the restaurant View 42 and didnt get any residual noise from the restaurant or other rooms. The staff were very friendly and informative and it is a short stoll down some... Did not stay here, but we did have dinner here. The GM's wife met us for dinner and to fill us in more on this wonderful resort. It is a spectacular property sprawling through the little village here. They have done a wonderful job at making it remain hidden right in front of you. If it was not pointed out... More

We stayed here with another couple in the back section of the Village. The road up to our accommodation was poorly lit, the rooms were part of a long, cold corridor that reminded me of army barracks and the rooms were not particularly welcoming, although they were clean and tidy. No view from where we were. The photos you see... More

Great room, clean, very spacious. Bathroom was large and very clean. The view was great overlooking Macquarie Harbour, we were given an upgrade to Hilltop Harbour View Room, on the top floor in the Gordon Wing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Lisa at Reception.

We had two nights here with friends. We were in the rear wing (can't remember it's name), which is fairly dated. There was a stain on the bed sheets and a few loose hairs! Room was pretty cold due to the poor heating. The main restaurant area is nice, however they only offer buffet meals which I don't like. So... More

We stayed one night recently in a waterfront executive terrace, up on the 1st floor with a balcony and of course, the view. From the balcony you got a good glimpse of the harbour, the boats and the town. It was very nice sitting there gazing at it all and drinking good wine and having a good chat about our... More

We planned our holiday to stay at Strahan Village because of an add in the RACT membership book. The deal was - book a Gordon Rover Cruise and the first nights accommodation is free with full breakfast. We rang and booked, requesting that we stay in the Cottages on the main street, and our booking was confirmed. We also requested... More

We had two nights at the Hilltop. We used our RACT membership to get a good rate, so bascially what you pay for is what you get. Room tired and overlooked the untidy back garden, hence would not use RACT discount again. Lighting up the hill is questionable. They freely advise you of places to eat, as their "Restaurant" is...
