Having read reviews prior to leaving we were quite dissapointed, we all felt it was Not the best value for money, The house was lovely but sadly looking tired and could do with a good makeover.The breakfasts were adequate but not up to other B Bs we stayed at. more
What a gorgeous place and what nice people. After a tortuous drive through from Hobart, Ormiston House was a lovely relaxing retreat. It's a great old house and very peaceful. After reading the positive reviews on Ormiston House I had fairly high expectations that it would be a beautifully restored grand historic house. Great stay and very accommodating. Carolyn makes you feel like you are apart of the family! The rooms are very comfortable and contain all the amenities you would normally have at home.
