Yes, it is a bit old and yes it is a bit tired but it is well located and it is quiet at night. We had a powered site that was grassed and close to the amenities - which are the ensuite style. I don't think there are many of those though in the park. The lady in reception was... More

The cabins are dated, but they're clean and comfortable. Good location, not far from the centre of Strahan. A good base for the 2 nights we were there. The cabins could do with an upgrade. However it was comfortable and warm and suited our needs.

We brought our van here expecting a 'bush' setting, but left after one night. The sites were tiny, you were not allowed a fire, there was no space for the children to roam or ride, the bathrooms were old (although the heat lights were nice!), there was a long list of 'rules' given to us at check in, and the... Stayed in one of their cabins and was pleasantly surprised how well laid out the park was. The cabin was old, but clean and had everything needed for a long or short stay, with all utensils and cleaning gear supplied. The park itself has 2 laundries and a cafe that serves excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and with... More

Going with tripadvisor reviews, We stayed in the 'Platypus Spa Cabin'. The reviews were right it was a cosy, private cabin due to the balcony opening onto a little creek rather than looking at the neighbours cabin. But the price was too much and the cabin needed some maintenance, which we reported. The position of the Holiday Park is good... More

We had a 3 bed room cabin just outside the park. It was clean and the beds were ok the managers friendly but the place need big money spent on it. The bathroom would not pass Health and Safety no rails for the older clients to step into the spa to have a shower which is in the spa. I... More

I liked the "theme" of the park - built to look like it is fitting in with the bushland but that is where it stops. The powered sites are either too small or in a hard to reverse area. Amenities need a total overhaul. Not clean at all and not enough showers. Reception staff are not interested in you at... More

Stayed in 2 bedroom Cabin had been booked "months before". However only one bedroom was made up. Other had to be made up.(by us) Cabin has "comment book" and 80% of customers made the same comment, its a WASTE of TIME having this BOOK. Cabin was clean/tidy inside, however outside and surrounds could be cleaned up - leaves, etc.

Stayed for two nights when doing the Gordon river cruise. Typical caravan park cabins, nothing special. Booked a Deluxe 2 b/room cabin, if this was deluxe I'm glad I didn't go for the standard cabins. Not on the waterfront or near restaurants. Will be looking elsewhere if there is a next time.
