We stayed two nights in these Villas and could not have been happier. Unit 1 was home away from home. Everything you could think of was supplied even down to a coffee plunger. Hotplates and oven. The villa was spotlessly clean. Free Wi Fi supplied with good service. No hestitation in recommending to friends There is a laundry for guest... More

We stayed in Strahan a few years back now, but these villas were just lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a two night stopover. It's a basic hotel, but in an area that was quite expensive, we thought it was good value. We had our own car so it wasn't very far to... More

Lovely place to arrive to after a very wet and windy day. Arrived to our villa with the heater already on and upgraded to a bigger room. Very comfortable with everything you would want. Spending 2 nights here and the weather is forecasted to be wild! Looking forward to spending another night here. Thank you!

Stayed here for a night as this was one of the cheaper places for parties of 3 adults, probably because it was away from the waterfront. The facilities are basic and the prices higher than comparable rooms in Hobart or other large towns but Strahan is fairly remote and most accommodation is expensive. There is WiFi advertised but the signal... More

Accommodation seems to book out fairly quickly in Strahan, which is a small town on the south west coast of Tasmania, and the jumping off point for tours of Franklin Gordon wilderness area. We booked a queen spa room at the Driftwood Strahan villas for three nights in February. The room cost was $180 a night. The villas are essentially... More

Well appointed 2 bedroom cabin. Close to town easy at the door parking. Shops very close by to get supplies for self contained catering. Very friendly and helpful staff. TV reception depends on the weather.

We (2 adults +1 infant) spent 3 nights here at peak season. We couldn't fault the place. Spacious, comfortable and the staff were just super if we did have any request. The location is brilliant, short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, waterfront etc. The price the most reasonable we paid in Tassie and we are touring all around.

4 of us booked a Queen/Queen unit. A day before our travel, sent an email requested for single bed in 1 of the room rather than Queen, received respond within hours and Voila! Single bed in the apartment when we arrived! It was surprisingly spacious, not luxurious, but have everything we needed (kitchenette, hair dryer & hot water etc.). Quiet,... More

It was 43 degrees when I arrived to discover no air conditioning. The lady whom check me in was terrible rude and not at all sorry that there was no way of cooling the room down, although she did give me a fan that blew the warm air around the room!! The cooker in the room was rusty and the... More

Unit 7 was nothing special....In fact our door came off the hinges and had to be reinstalled! Between the dogs barking and crowing rooster, both nights were not conducive to a good nights sleep......wished we had not booked the second night and had moved on after we did the heritage world cruise....cruise was ok but we have done better!
