Lovely old 3 bed cottage overlooking Stanley bay. We were upgraded because of a wedding so had this huge cottage to ourselves, 4 poster bed and all. Great family size kitchen with everything you would need for staying in. Cosy fire to round off the ambience.

We stay here for 3 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Stanley is a beautiful, idyllic little seaside town that is well worth a visit. Abbey’s on Church was on the main road, right in the centre of town. It is very close to lots of restaurants, cafés and shops and is a short, easy walk to The Nut. The cottage... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Easy check in at the hotel located just down the road. Easy parking. Extremely quiet little apartment even though it is located right in the town and on the road. Am a light sleeper and didn't get disturbed by noise once. The bed was ok, could have had better pillows but otherwise good. The kitchenette was... More

Really enjoyed my stay here- overnight wasn't nearly enough! The cottage is decorated with some interesting period bric-a-brac and comfortable furnishings (some a little worn, but nonetheless charming), is centrally located and within walking distance of shops, facilities and the beach. The cottage overlooks the bay providing stunning views, and there's a lovely, private cottage garden to the rear. The... More

We stayed at the Pol Cottage. Easy check in at the Stanley Hotel and a very warm welcome. The location is great, and the cottage had everything you would want (we were three adults), however we did feel it was a bit tired and dated. For the price we paid ($150 a night in winter) it was really good value,... More

Stayed at Abbey's on church for 2 nights. What a treat! Beautifully renovated with everything a traveler could ask for. The bed was very comfortable and the large spa was a real treat. Full functioning kitchen and laundry with a dryer allowed us to get our washing done. Situated at the bottom of the nut and in the heart of... More

Arriving in Stanley we had to report to the Stanley Hotel to check in. We parked on the lower level going into the restaurant entrance but the office is actually around the "front" of the hotel on the main street. Check in was slow, as the office is also a gift shop come reception for the pub and one person... More

This review relates to the house on Harrison Street, each of Abbey’s Cottages is quite different and may offer a very different experience. Keys are collected from the hotel and the check-in process is well organised. Our “cottage” was a modern house on Harrison Terrace overlooking Godfrey’s Beach with panoramic views from the Green Hills to the Nut. Godfrey’s Beach... More

Check in at the Hotel, all very smooth and easy to find. Pol & Pen Holiday Cottages are together but Pol is the best (in my opinion) as it has the outlook to the sea as well as the Nut. We really enjoyed our short stay here, the cottage has everything you need and is very clean. Stanley is lovely... More

We stayed in the Abbey's The Green House and it was absolutely beautiful. Pity the weather did not support our stay in Stanley when we arrived. The cottage was beautiful, self contained and warm and inviting on a very windy blustery day in December, 2013. The only shame was that we only had one night but the weather was awful.
