We only stayed one night but the villas are very clean, very comfortable, the staff very helpful a and friendly. Wifi not so good but 3G works fine. The reviews of tidal resort put us off there and I think we got an excellent alternative. Bedrooms are on the bottom floor so no drama with suitcases as they roll straight... More

I stayed here in November. The villas are apartment style with large living area,tv ,fridge and kitchen area. Bedroom is nice size as well with plenty of parking onsite. The villa was clean and shower nice and hot. The Managers are easy going and helpful. Checkout at anytime by leaving keys in drop box at reception. This is not the... More

Another fantastic 5 nights stay in Dec. As always comfortable and clean room. Bed comfortable so fantastic nights sleep. Each room has its own hot water system so no sharing between other units. The rooms have been getting updated since my 1st stay and are looking fantastic. I needed an email printed and this was not a problem at all.... More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Clean and well maintained. Spacious living areas. Bathroom was small. I stayed here with a club. We booked every room. The BBQ facilities were great, we cooked a BBQ tea and breakfast. The staff were very accommodating. I would recommend this place.

The accommodation itself is nothing special and the apartments are located a bit out of town, but overall they are exactly that what you pay for. The manager gave us a friendly welcome, the beds are good and the apartments are clean. I can recommend this place if you just want a good night’s sleep and don’t care to much... More

Visted St Helens on my recent trip to tassie. Fell in love its beautiful. This Hotel is in a good location close to town and only 10- 15 mins to Bay of fires. Nice views. Very clean and tidy. It is not super glamorous but great value for what you pay.

The whole process from booking to checkout was efficient & friendly with Sweetwater host Tim, and the 2 storey unit was very clean, airy & nicely appointed. We particularly appreciated having both downstairs & upstairs toilets! Views from our balcony weren't fully exploited due to plenty of rain, but this didn't damped our enthusiasm for the beautiful location and the... More

This was our first stay in Tasmania outside Hobart. A nice outlook but outside the town area. You would need a car. The layout of the place was good. We had wifi but in other respects the place was deficient. In the kitchen there were 2 of each item - forks, knives, etc and none of them matched! That made... More

We only had one night in St Helens, but could have stayed for weeks. A reasonably modern and well set out unit. We had one of the single bedroom ground floor self contained units, but it was quite spacious and had everything we wanted, even a lovely view across the bay from the living room. The rooms were clean and... More

We had the singular misfortune to spend a waterlogged weekend at St Helens, but still managed to get out and about, using Sweetwater Villas as our base. We had a two-bedroom "villa", more a townhouse. You enter downstairs, near where your clearly-marked car space is designated, to a foyer off which ran the two bedrooms and at the end of... More
