We stayed here as a stopover on the way to Devonport to the boat. Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel and we were not expecting one. I was surprised at how cosy and comfortable i felt there and my husband commented the same. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us, finding a baby gate for... More

Unfortunately we could not spend more time in this lovely sea side town of St Helens. Our unit at Sweetwater Villas was very good. Staff were friendly, the self contained one bedroom unit was relatively modern and very clean. The queen size bed was warm and comfortable. The kitchen area was basic with minimal but adequate hardware. The unit complex... More

We stayed here for one night on a road trip along the Tasmanian east coast. The apartment was quite large and had everything you could need. Although a little dated the rooms were spotless, very comfortable and well priced. A special mention to the young man who greeted us. Very friendly and gave us great tips for our road trip... More

My wife and myself enjoyed a fabulous two day stay at Sweetwater. The apartment was great value, it was on two levels with plenty of space and a balcony. It's a short drive to St. Helens or.a 15 min walk - great view, peaceful and the owner and his son very helpful. Ideal for Bay of Fires and exploring this... More

As the title suggest, a family owned business and it shows, just the little things go a long long way. Advice on where to eat or what to see is so important and the staff were so friendly and more than happy to share their local knowledge with their guests. Whilst not luxurious the accommodation was clean and comfortable with... More

Simple to find after the township (which has a few eateries and grocery stores) this place has great views over the bay and a lovely BBQ area. Worth a stop for a few days if you want to be self sufficient, cook your own food (has a well equipped kitchen in the room) and visit the Bay of Fires with... More
