Nothing to complain on this resort. It's situated quite near to the town area, so we don't need to drive for meals. The room itself is big and self sufficient with a balcony. Wifi is available but only limited to the lobby/reception area. We forgot to bring some of our clothes during check out so we wrote them a mail... More

A pleasant two night stay in a water view room at $200 per night which, on reflection, we thought was a bit pricey. Good water views and friendly and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable but the walls must be thin as we could clearly hear neighbours. The floor in the corridor creaks and is noisy as guests walk... More

We have just been out to the Tidal Waters Resort Restaurant for our wedding anniversary. We haven't been there for a long time as experiences in the past have left a lot to be desired. However they obviously now have a new chef (we had had very good reports lately) and this time our visit was sensational. Firstly we were... More

Only stayed one night. Our room was clean & nice. It was freezing in St. Helens when we visited but our rooms were warm and cozy. It was very quite at the restaurant. Waited ten minutes @ bar to get a beverage & no one came. So we gave up and drove to the bottle shop. We were told when... More

Amazing water views and very friendly staff. Check in was easy and easy to find the room. It's not the kind of place I would normally stay but I don't think there are too many choices here to cater for a large group. (100+) Quite old and creaky. If you are staying on the bottom floor it's quite noisy above... More

Back at St Helens and tried this place. Very clean, quiet and helpful staff. Decor and rooms are dated, but comfortable. More of a place to throw your luggage and travel than a resort. Don't worry though, the friendly staff make up for all of the shortfalls.

Not sure who rates accommodation these days but they need to stop. Certainly not 4 star and certainly not a resort. Who seriously has a double bed these days? We had two. Get rid of them and put in a queen as a minimum. Everything is very dated, shower is tiny (just enough room to turn around), tv is very... More

By all accounts this is a top end resort, if you believe the website. Certainly at $200 a night you would expect a great property. We were disappointed on 4 fronts 1. No wifi in the rooms, I was told the repeater didn't transmit that far. Even had trouble logging on in the foyer 2. Very few staff around, had... More

Walked into reception and was very impressed, beautifully appointed, really looked lovely. However, the reception was unattended, there was a sign saying go to bar for assistance, stood there for a couple of minutes until someone appeared. Checked in and went to our room...since when does an upmarket hotel offer a double bed and a very hard double bed at... More

We spent a couple of nights here, and had very enjoyable experience. Staff were very professional and courteous. Our room had a stunning view of the bay. We dined in the restaurant and had a delicious meal. Very highly recommended by all of us
