Enjoyed my visit very much. This was a nice place to stay, clean tidy rooms, lovely surroundings, and I can't fault the food at all - it was excellent. This is not a 5 star resort, but neither is it priced as such. That comment might sound as though I am denigrating the establishment, but I am not - it... More

This is a huge place, slightly rundown overgrown gardens, but clean and very comfortable at the moment. Our room is large, the bathroom is large, the shower recess is small but the water is hot and plentiful. The staffare friendly, the kitchen is large, the deck is huge and clean. We had an antipasta for dinner last night and it... More

Stayed 2 nights in a standard twin room (2 doubles), standard motel room, fairly basic and clean. Outdoor pool, laundry, conference rooms, and restaurant on-site. Short walk into town, short drive to Binalong Bay and the southern end of the Bay of Fires.

This place needs a serious injection of cash. It is so tired and dowdy. The location is excellent and I'm sure it once was nice. There is no cooling in the rooms and no air movement. There is a small heater on the wall which was supposed to cool but didn't work and I don't think it would have made... More

We just stayed the one night so didn't need resort facilities but it is definitely not 4 stars. We had a 'garden view'....but the gardens weren't landscaped, and the rooms were clean but not modern. There was a funny chemical smell throughout the hotel - perhaps from cleaning products. The hotel felt deserted and a bit tired and sad.

We stayed in the Ensuite Room (King Spa) but unfortunately for us the spa did not work but apart from that minor hiccup the room was quite large, clean and had a small balcony overlooking the waterfront. The restaurant served good quality meals. This resort is ideally located for travellers on Tasmania's East Coast. I agree with the previous comments... More

We stayed at this place of accommodation for two nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our meals at the restaurant were excellent. The views from the decking were breathtaking. This resort is a short walk to the local shopping area. Overall a very pleasant experience.

St. Helens is a super small town. We visited between x'mas and new yr 2014. Since there were barely enough food choices in town, we can't really complain about the lack of choices in housing. It is definitely not a luxury resort - I would say that the beds are prob more like a Super 8 quality. Again, you prob... More
