We spent one night during Easter at the hotel! Best hotel in St. Helens The rooms are big nice and clean! Clean bathrooms Great location in a beautiful town On the east coast of Tasmania. I can recommend this hotel, no wifi but parking on site . The hotel has restaurant but can't recommend it!

Only place we could find with a vacancy. After reading reviews I knew it would not be the best. Reviews are right. Overpriced ,hallways very loud with squeaky floors. Staff were very polite, and only a short stroll to shops, restaurants and cafes. Worth $120 a night not $190.

This looked the best option for St. Helens after driving around looking for accommodation late in the afternoon. We baulked at the $220 room price... but maybe we were in for something special? Not really! To get to the room was a little tricky. From the reception area it was a drive around the carpark and then a hike with... More

Bought a deal through getaway lounge for tidal waters for 2 nights with buffet breakkys, restaurant vouchers etc. Was in a nice location and after a huge trip were extremely happy we were able to check in super early at 11am. However rooms were outdated and old! Restaurant was a joke, terrible food and the staff couldn't have cared less!... More

Stayed here for one night as part of a photographic tour of Tasmania. All arrangements were made by the tour but our rooms were ready on arrival and the process was seamless. Many of the rooms face the mud flats and the estuary with excellent wildlife all over the place. The rooms are comfortable ( bed was great) and quite... More

We took a weekend package which included accommodation, breakfast, and a main meal in the evenings for both of us! Our room was nicely furnished with a balcony overlooking the water which was a nice setting. Unfortunately on the Sunday afternoon there was a power failure, and all the eateries in St Helen's had to close, but we were informed... More

We stayed in Tidal Waters Resort early March and I must preface my remarks with the following comments: I take any reviews I write very serious but at the same time try not to be too negative or unfair. Because we take a lot of notice of Trip Adviser reviews before travelling and booking our accommodation and it is for... More

This is a comfortable good value for money place to stay. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Separate, spacious guest lounges enable relaxation outside your room.. Overlooks the mudflats that are alive with all kinds of bird life - eagles, swans, white faced herons and probably more. Not sure about the other accomodation in town but this is good. Get... More

Booked a two night getaway with some friends, rooms were good , great place to relax and very good service, however the outdoor areas of the hotel let It down, lovely views over the water except for the unkept grass areas outside the rooms with lots of overgrown blackberrys. They have a very large deck area outside the restaurant, which... More

Room was dated, however clean and had everything you need in a hotel room. Found service efficient, even got room service out of their normal hours no hassell. Would probably request an up stairs room as we had noisy neighbours! Overall good experience
