Stayed 4 nights wirh the family and our 3 dogs. Good base to explore the region. Great pizza! No accessible power points in the camp kitchen... Good fuel prices, but runs out quickly. One suggestion is to offer dog sitting services (or a recommendation of a local business) as many visitors had pets.

What a terrific holiday park in an idealistic location, cabins basic but very clean & comfy, everything you need too have a great stay. Staff are extremely helpful and the home made food at the attached shop scrumptious, the park is small but very clean & tidy. Great holiday thanks everyone, will be back.

Cabin was ok, but very basic and dated. Not a place where you want to spend a lot of time indoors. Tried to do laundry, but struggled first to get keys, and then to get machines to work on time. Was happy to move on.

The best thing about this place was leaving with our free pizza. My friend brought this accommodation on Travel Auctions. Never again. Up graded our cabin to a "deluxe" to accommodate 4 adults. What greeted us was a small old outdated cabin that smelled of fish and stale milk. Bathroom was dirty and had mould on the shower screen. During our... More

In response to your review, I would like to clarify a few points that may be misunderstood from the above comments. I myself was stranded in St Helens from the Bush fires and all calls were diverted to me as the phone lines were down at the Park and the whole area for that matter. I was at the pub... More

We were looking for an affordable one nighter for a family of 5 and that is what we got. Clean and tidy unit and a very helpful maintenance guy who gave us some great tips for the remainder of our journey. Recommended.

The new owners are very welcoming. The park itself is ok but if you choose to stay here on a powered site only do that if you can get powered site 1. This site is really the only decent site. The laundry is quite grubby and the amenities are old and it shows. Not too sure if they are clean... More

We rang Christmas Day desperate for a campsite as everything else was booked out. We turned up late after a long motorbike ride. A key had been left out for us and the owner guided us to our site by phone. All on Christmas Day !! The park was well organized, clean amenities and the next day the owners also... More

I will list things ranging from the worst to the least annoying: * Found hair in the food twice, on separate occasions. Disgusting. * Burnt food to the point of not being able to consume - will never go there again. * Rude people at reception. Apparently you have to know them on a first name basis to receive any...
