Location is good and handy for day trips which was our daily routine.. Touring daily was easy whilst having a base to return. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms. Slightly overpriced but having great views with decent seized balcony and the usual outside furniture. Rooms are large enough and the supply of soaps etc was Ok. We didn't... More

We stayed one night at the Inn. Photographs on website dont show it for what it is. Check in was fine and friendly. Parking is lousy as was the room. Very old and very worn. Holes in curtains. Kitchen laminate coming apart. Broken leg on bed and bed supported by a piece of timber. Mattress con-caved in the middle so... More

I would class this property as more 3 Star but it is great value and little outdated but if you ask for a room upstairs and pay the difference it is worth it. very clean and comfortable and comfortable and a very good location.

To be quite frank , we have traveled extensively around the world in some very out of the way places , and we have stayed in higher quality accommodation in Bangladesh and West Africa . Tragically the Bayside Inn is a very sad statement of tourism in Tasmania/Australia . The staff were pleasant and helpful. The bedroom in the photograph... More

No water pressure and what water there was was cold .. Over priced for the condition of the room .. Noisy .. Will go some where else tonight .. When I complained to reception they didn't care . Obviously they don't own the place ..

Stayed overnight in st Helens and loved it . The hotel has large rooms with small balcony (albeit a little run down ) but you can see the owners are putting money into premises . Our room had a new bathroom ,was clean and comfy with excellent views . Thanks Karen for a great stay

The Inn placed in a good position with easy access to town ammenities. It needs to be renovated but large room & comfortable. Beautiful views. Reasonable food. Excellent storage but room dated. Would have been excellent in the 80's.

Fantastic location, Off street parking, Pub & bistro are ok. Room was dated but clean, Staff were friendly. No A/C so you would not want it to get hot. All shops in close walking distance. There was no lighting in the cark park a couple of security lights would be welcome.
