This review isn't a totally fair review because we (my husband and I) are only making our judgements based on the exterior of the building. First up, we were looking for a cheap one night stopover. We weren't looking for anything glamorous so we chose this accommodation based on price. Whilst looking at photos provided we had different expectations to... More

The surrounding is so good and a lot of car parking. I thank Bayside Inn is the best one of this area. But just a little bit old. In the GPS system is hard to find out the location. I will recommend to my friend.

Nice, clean, basic rooms. Everything you need close by, with shops and restaurants local. Make sure you head into the Bistro - fantastic meals for all 3 of us. Lovely area, definitely recommend a visit to St Helens.

We had a great stay, the room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The only downside was no wifi access and possibly the room could have been modernised and refreshed!! Having the use of the pool was great!!!

Good view. Clean and comfortable beds. Good bistro downstairs with good food and friendly staff. Music from downstairs very annoying on the Saturday night when we were trying to sleep. No lift to second storey (bit of a pain if you have heavy luggage). Overall, very convenient to all facilities and not too expensive.

Clean large rooms. Very dated décor. I would take my own pillow next time, but bed was comfy. Friendly staff, good dinner at the bar downstairs, and only a bit of noise around 1am when the bar closes. 2min walk from town, 5min walk to a range of food outlets, and right on the harbour.

Place need an upgrade as the furniture must be from 60's. No wifi, not too clean, uncomfortable beds but good location, great food at bistro and nice young staff at the bar.ok for 1 night.good value for money.
