Having heard ownership had recently changed thought we woukd give the restaurant a go.arrived to find a bus load of people & panicked wondering what time we might get served.alas shouldnt have worried as we received our meals within 15 minutes of ordering. Meal was pleasant and would eat there again. Disappointed there was NO Tasmanian wines on the menu... More

The hotel is no wow from the outside, but the rooms are recently renovated. Nice clear furniture and good bedding However in the bathroom they have made two errors: the sink is too high and there is no space for your personal toiletries! The staff was very friendly and has given us a lot of good suggestions for the things... More

This 'resort' changed hands in December 2014 from what I know. It is still relatively unkept and not exactly worthy of the name resort. The owner is changing the name slowly so people who come here are not expecting a proper resort. It is a VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY hotel with a pleasant bistro, very nice staff, pool and tennis etc... Visited during January 2015 and really wished we hadn't. Very outdated and dirty rooms. I guess the view is good but we ended up sleeping all night with doors open due to heat. Trucks heading up the road early in the morning didn't add to the experience...

We were ment to stay for 4 nights but from after a long drive from beautiful Hobart we ended up at this small costal ghost town with nothing but a run down cement block which was ment to be a resort?? After sitting out the front questioning weather to stay or keep driving we decided we had already paid for... More

We stayed here 3 nights in an ocean view room. This was our second stay, and would use it again. The view is great, straight up the coastline and out to the crashing waves of the ocean, and could cause a higher rating. Bed comfortable, bed linen and towels were good quality, and everything worked. The unit has bath with... More

Stayed 2 nights only cause we were conned by sunseeker, room was supposed to be refurbished, when in 1970? Bed was likely of similar vintage as was the mattress, balcony door would not lock, shower was lousy, when we got there we noticed an empty bottle of whiskey on the bench next to the pool, three days later it was... We stayed here 3 nights in an ocean view room. The view is to die for, straight up the coastline and out to the crashing waves of the ocean. Bed comfortable, bed linen and towels were good quality. The TV was very small and not a flat screen. The room and the resort are very tired, pity that this has... More

Stayed here for work for one night. Probably once, many years ago, this hotel was a jewel of the Tasmanian East Coast. Now, it is a bit tired, a bit old, in need of some TLC. I stayed in a refurbished room which was nice, but a bit small. But the view was fabulous. The staff were lovely and very... More
