My husband and I were passing through the lovely town of Ross, we had accomodation at the Ross bakery, which was great, so we had dinner at man'o Ross hotel. It was great, new owners of only one week! Suzi and Scott, are just lovely, we had a good chat and it was great too meet them. We wish them... More

I arrived in Ross for the Australian yard dog championships, and stayed in my Ute the first night as I was travelling by the seat of my pants and hadn't booked ahead. (Not that it would have been a problem) I had a delicious meal and the new owners Suzie and Scott, who had only been in a week, were... More

I stayed at this charming old hotel with some mates while we competed in a sporting event at nearby Campbell Town. I had room 5 which was huge and had a main street frontage. The king size bed was comfy and the room was serviced daily. There was a TV room which had a kitchenette with a complementary continental breakfast... More

This was a lovely convict era hotel where we had a comfortable room with shared amenities. Our bed was very comfortable. Guests were made to feel very welcome. There was a comfortable dining and lounge room with plenty of facilities. The included continental breakfast was available in this room. The hotel provided free WiFi that was very speedy - much... We never usually stay at hotels/pubs, we prefer self contained with en suite. However, in Ross recently we couldn't find anything within our budget so we tried the Man o Ross. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a nice room for $65, very cheap. Next door to a shared bathroom and lounge area where breakfast and tea making facilities were... More

1- check-in Waited half an hour before anyone turned up! 2- room Dirty and cold 3- dinner Took forever and wasn't up to scratch for the price they were charging. There's another option the Ross motel, will stay there on my next rip. Or shearers and shooters across the road does brilliant food.

spent Halloween in Ross, but no ghosts or ghouls. simple basic rooms, communal bathrooms, but for $65, total bargain. could have been cleaner, but only if you looked hard! three of us all had an excellent dinner in the dining room, not many tassie pubs could beat it. publican lyn was a great hostess, and natilee on the bar took... Stopped here after visiting the Ross Female Factory. Friendly staff were very knowledgeable about the history of the local area. Good food, nice fire and child-friendly. We had already booked accommodation elsewhere but will definitely stay here next time we're in Ross.

Ross is a beautiful and Historic country Hotel. You really should do yourself a favor and visit this fantastic establishment for a beverage or two. The beer was lovely, the staff friendly. Whislt we regrettably did not eat at the restaurant, the menue seemed to have something available for all. The pub was very busy on this nondescript Sunday night... More
