At $34/night grossly overpriced. 2 toilets,2 showers(coin operated), 1 washing machine, 1 dryer(doesn't work) and a dusty site! Amenities were clean. It's a pity for the town of Ross that the caravan park will not encourage the travelling public to stop and spend time in the town, which is solely a tourist town.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at the Ross Caravan Park. The dryer in the laundry that was not working during your stay with us has now been repaired but there was a sign on the dryer advising that the Motel would be more than happy to do any drying that might have been required... We spend one night here, and the motel room was immaculate and was nicely furnished. Austar was available. It is very close to the main street of Ross and if you cut through the caravan park you find the local pub with a 5 min walk. We would happily stop here again if ever pass that way again.

We went to the Ross Motel on recommendation from friends. The Motel suits the character of the town and is situated on a quiet street beside a river that is spanned by a historic bridge. Great local shops and eateries. The manager was a good humoured man and sort to compensate us for a less than ideal stay of 2... More

Hi - we are really sorry that your experience at the Ross Motel didn't live up to your expectations but we are really pleased that you have pointed out the issues to us. Being in the middle of Tasmania means of course that is difficult to get tradesmen when you require them as we do understand it is upsetting when... More

We were recommended the Ross Motel by the Tasmania Tourism Centre in Hobart as Ross was the perfect half way point to Launceston. What a lovely place. We arrived earlier than expected and could check in straight away which we appreciated. The room had free WIFI, was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and approachable. It is also within... More

We only had one night at this wonderful motel. It was clean, very comfortable, quiet and perfectly positioned. We were supplied with a continental breakfast in the room. We walked all over Ross town and surrounds from here. Had we known we would've stayed longer, as there is so much to see in this area. Perfect!

This property is approx 10 years old and still looks in immaculate condition. My room looked very smart and was well equipped. Also a very smart clean bathroom. My room also had a view of the river. No food service at the motel but it is only a few minutes walk to the centre. 2 bakeries serve great breakfast snacks.... More

On top of my priorities for a good motel are a quiet, dark room and a comfortable bed. Ross Motel scores 110% here and 100% for everything else. Add a quiet walk around a historic and interesting town and it all makes for a great stay. Strongly recommended.

Our room was very well appointed and very clean. The proprietors were friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights and Ross was a great base for discovering the area. Would definitely recommend this motel to friends.

We booked 3 nights but only stayed for 2 as we were disappointed by the facilities compared to other caravan parks we have stayed in. No camp kitchen and only cold water in the laundry. The toilet block was clean but could do with a serious update - not enough basins, toilets or showers. Having to queue for a shower,... More

We stayed with 2 family rooms, immaculately presented, thoughtful breakfast inclusions. The well maintained gardens are delightful and enabled 7 of us to enjoy an outdoor early Christmas breakfast together. Motel is on walking distance of bridge, hotel and lovely historic town, would be good to stay longer and use as a touring base Santas Cave was the undoubted Ross... More

What a lovely review for us to receive just prior to Christmas! We have passed your comments regarding Santa's Cave on to the organiseers as a lot of hard work goes into this every year.
