Absolutely loved the views from the beautifully appointed cabins. Spa bath overlooking Stewarts Bay or sit on your private deck with a glass of wine. Lovely walking tracks amongst the potaroo's and pademelons. Beach access from the hotel. So peaceful. Worth spending the night or a few on the gorgeous Tasman peninsula. A great opportunity to explore the Port Arthur... More

Beautiful facilities on an incredible landscape. Our cabin was lovely, with a huge spa tub for additional relaxation. Mark and his staff (especially Josh) were hospitable and fun, made our week stay a joy! The food was delicious considering the destination from a large city, fresh and yummy, not to mention the large wine list. A week stay with fellow... More

Stayed here for my Fathers birthday and was a great stay. Nice views, quiet location and a well maintained unit. The meals were on the steeper side but very well cooked. The lodge is only a short distance travel from Port Arthur if you have a vehicle. Very pleasant experience.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins(35) and while not a "waterfront cabin" we found this did not matter. The cabin was excellent with better facilities than any we stayed at during our trip. The views from the cabin were brilliant (forest views) and we had a wonderfully private location with the absolute bonus being all day sun on... More

I was awe struck by how beautiful Port Arthur and the surrounding area of Stewarts Bay Lodge is. There was an incredible energy about the place, which allowed me to relax and completely appreciate the natural beauty and serenity. The accommodation offered a great retreat to enjoy “me time” and was complimented by the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant in... More

Was lucky enough to spend a week here as part of a corporate event that being held. The views from the restaurant and the cabins are amazing and allow you to fully relax, and the service from the staff was first rate especially Mark and Josh who always worked hard to make us feel welcome.

Weathered cabin looked tatty from the outside. Inside was different. Lovely varnished pine a big living space, a full kitchen. Plenty of electric heating on a five hour timer. Oddly, while the WC was separate from the bathroom, it had no hand basin. Free washer and dryer. Outside too: splendid view of the inlet and a very short walk to... More

We stayed here on the 8th Oct and were so thrilled with our spa cabin that we booked another night. The views from the cabin over the Bay were outstanding. From the very start the young man on reception (Douglas) was so helpful and when we walked into the cabin we couldn't believe our luck. It was about $220.00 per... More

The basic and dated log cabin our family hired was ok, but over-priced - only a small step above caravan park facilities really. Newer lodges are available for a considerable premium. A great location, but the check-in staff seemed a bit dazed. Dinner at the restaurant targeted nouvelle cuisine, so it's good for photos of dishes if you're willing to... More

Basic room that was probably a bit on the expensive side as the facilities weren't that new. The food at the restaurant was delicious (we ate there for dinner and breakfast) so would definitely recommend that. We even got a wilderness show at dinner time right outside the window of the restaurant. No wifi at the rooms.
