Clean, warm, cosy and spacious. We loved our room overlooking the bay and enjoyed a glass of wine and watching the sun set. It was equally good to see it rise from our bed the following morning. Although the service by the reception staff was lack lustre - we felt we were interrupting their afternoon by making enquiries about whether... More

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and highly recommend it. Cabins were very clean and warm and provided plenty of space. The spa bath was a relaxing addition. A short walk along the bay takes you straight to the historical site. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and reasonably priced. If you decide to say in Port Arthur,... More

I'm writing this from another accommodation place just 15 minutes away. Why you may ask? Because the person in reception really didn't seem to care if I stayed or not. I was more than happy to pay a premium for my accomm ( been at saffire, Henry jones and peppers in the previous week) if it suited my needs. Accommodation... More

A lovely spot and our extra 10 dollars for a sea view was worth it. Good kitchen facilities and cd player plus hairdryer :) the spa is out of order. Excellent coffee at Gabriel's. Lovely walk around to Port Arthur and in other direction to garden point. Spotted wallabies and bandicoots on grounds.

Paid extra for a deluxe cabin and was not impressed! Images online are misleading. The views are nothing great barely see the ocean from the deluxe cabins. Reception staff were cold and the restaurant did not have a great variety. Nothing to do in the area, everything closed. Port Arthur boring also. Would not recommend staying here. Stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't be more pleased. After arriving quite late (around 6pm) we were a little worried about the late check in. No problems here - we simply rang the bell and we were given the keys within minutes. We arrived in our huge deluxe cabin and were really happy with the room - especially for... More

Stayed 5 nights at Stewart's Bay Lodge for a work conference. Believe me, it was the best work related location I have ever encountered! I'll start with the not so good - check in was a bit of a shambles and the receptionist was a bit disorganised. But this ain't the Shangri-la, it's in a rather remote small town so... More

The deluxe cabins seem to be the newest/renovated ones and they are superb...in terms of stunning views and facilities. All excellent!! Reception staff friendly and helpful re local area. Watch you have plenty petrol in your car as gas stations are few and far between.

We spent 2 nights in a deluxe waterfront spa cabin and it was everything we expected and more. Fantastic cabins - the deluxe ones are the newer ones so i would recommend booking these if you want a bit of luxury. Cabin was warm when we got there as the heat pump had been turned on, this was a lovely... More

We recently spent two nights at the lodge, in a deluxe cabin for our anniversary weekend. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean, with modern furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom with spa bath. We were there for a romantic weekend away as well as wanting somewhere picturesque, secluded but close to Port Arthur, which was just a lovely 15... More
