Be very cautious about these people, I booked a room and afterwards they called me up and said all their rooms are occupied. But after one month later, they still billed my credit card for AUD378. They have lots of excuses that I wasn't turn up for the day or didn't cancel the accommodation. I would be very cautious about... More

This is now known as Stewart's Bay Lodge and seems to be under newer management. I stayed in October 06 and this was one of the two places I wish I had booked for longer. Port Arthur Lodge is a woodland holiday park about 1km up the coast from the Port Arthur historic site. The cabins are spacious and very well equipped. This was a great place to base ourselves for a short stay in the Port Arthur region. We walked to the historic site and loved the seclusion and privacy afforded by the accommodations.
