We stayed at the park for 2 nights in our hired campervan. The facilities were excellent (including the proper baby bath in the laundry which was a bonus for our 9 month old). We had a lovely water view and the sites are generously spaced out. All staff members I dealt with were lovely. The wildlife which come up close... More

Stayed 2 nights in the Park with a campervan. Sites are nice, facilities are very clean. The park itself is just a 20 min walk away from the Port Arthur historic site and only short drives from nice bushwalkes. In the evening you can spot many wallabies, we were also lucky to see a potoroo.

We arrived to the stunning views of the Waterview Cabin which were spectacular. We immediately sat out on the balcony and opened a bottle of vino. The cabin was more than adequate with a refurbished new shower with ample hot water ! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

We have been holidaying on the Peninsula for years. We decided to try something new with the kids and booked in at this holiday park on an unpowered tent site. What a blast! We hardly saw the kids - they were that busy riding bikes with other kids. When we did round them up there was such variety of things... More

A great family park, lots of friendly wildlife and a great playground for the kids. Lovely clean bathrooms, a great camp kitchen and fire places at each site. Very friendly staff. Stayed on a large grass unpowered site.

We chose a self-contained garden cabin for an overnight stay having visited Port Arthur. The Tourist Park has lots of trees with relatively few visitors on the night we stayed. The park is very quiet and we slept well on a reasonably comfortable bed. There are laundry facilities but I imagine it would be difficult in accessing these in busy... More

This is a great park for families . Lovely natural setting in bush setting , playground and short stroll to safe sandy beach. New jetty being built for boats . Google site map of park to select a site that suits . Most sites are rebooked by regular guests at peak times . Amenities are newly tiled clean and tidy.... More

Stayed in an on-suite caravan site which was a good drive through site. En-suite was good if a little small and the access to it hilly. Straying off the path meant most likely a slip. Park has a nice lot of trees and almost tame wildlife. Fires can be lit on site with wood purchased from office. Two poor features.... More

Stayed in a Garden View Cabin. Cabin was very well fitted out including a large TV with Foxtell. The Tasman Penisula is fairly isolated with limited places to buy food. The Park has a shop and another general store is close by - better to buy supplies in Sorrel. Been 33 years since we had visited the convict ruins and... More

My partner and I stayed here this month after getting a rude response from another park in the area. We were glad we came here as it was one of the most beautiful caravan parks we have ever seen and it was a shame we did not have time to stay longer. It's that far from the historic site and... More
