So if you bread my other reviews you know that the desk at Stewarts Bay was pure lemon juice…. just plain tart GD and I were pretty frustrated and I was ready to head back to anywhere else ( wed night on he tasman peninsula should not cost more the 5* in sydney)..nor should... Stayed here for one night whilst spending time exploring Port Arthur. Price wise it was very competitive. Unfortunately the cafe was closed for upgrade so cannot comment on this. The room was a little tired looking and some fittings need attention. The walls of the motel rooms are paper thin and you can hear next doors conversations. Just needed to... More

We were desperate to find somewhere to stay after a long day driving, in the dark and raining we came apon Parson Bay Retreat , were settled in, enjoyed a meal and a chat with some of the young friendly people who were working there, mostly backpackers, very enjoyable. On returning home to Victoria I realised I had left some... More

Stayed for two nights in a 2 bedroom unit with my family of five. I found all of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The kids loved the pool and the basketball hoops. We had a comfortable room overlooking the water. We ate dinner at the on-site restaurant, "The Hub". This was absolutely fantastic and catered for children very well.... More

Enjoyed this accommodation as it was built with a sustainable mindset. The food was excellent with different ethnic mains at the Hub.The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and decorated in a minimal style which we enjoy. Enjoyed seeing vegetables growing in pallet boxes.

The staff were very very friendly, could not do enough for you. Room was clean and comfy, small kitchen area with microwave. Looked like staff living on premises or permanent residents living in some of the Motel rooms, making it look a little messy. Pool area had vines growing in through top wall vent. Paid $20 on line for 2... More

How they can call this a retreat is anyones guess. Its a run down motel. Such a shame with so much beautiful scenery around, all you get to look at is a pot holed bichumen car park. They cant even grow a decent lawn for the bbq area. The only saving grace was the indoor pool which kept the kids... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review of our Motel. I must say I feel sad reading your review and I am not taking lightly your label “an awful poor motel”. I have been operating this motel for the past 7 years this is the first and only time we received such an extreme/poor review. I would... More

This place caught me by surprise. I was looking for good quality, well-priced food and wifi on the Tasman Peninsula. I thought my ambition was a bit pie-in-the-sky as there is very little else in the area. Then I drove past this place. Oh my GOODNESS! A lovely, quiet atmosphere, free wifi, great vegetarian options and it serves beer. I... More

Although the interior is dated, the lodgings were very comfortable. We had everything we needed, from electric blankets, great bed, good TV with DVD's and a microwave oven. We didn't use the heated pool and spa, but they looked very inviting. Would stay again.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment during our trip to Port Arthur. Spa, sauna & small pool available on site. Nice, clean & cosy motel with friendly and amazing staff. Good value for money. Great Cafe on site with good food.
