Sheoaks B and B is a wonderful place to stay. Margaret and Alan were the best hosts; friendly, helpful with information and provided the most amazing breakfast and dinner meals specialising in their local community produce, which they are very knowledgable about. Marg has not lost her creative touch from her Home Economic's teaching days in her other life! The... More

Huge house with unbelievable view. We had two adults and three kids. There were plenty of rooms, beds and bathrooms. The house has everything and more. Washer and dryer, nice beds, kitchen fully stocked for cooking plus the little details like salt, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Even beach towels rolled up in the mud room. Beach is a short stroll... Sheoaks is a beautiful place in a beautiful part of the world. A few mintues delightful walk and you are on a long, picturesque, deserted beach. The hosts are so helpful to the extent of emailing comprehensive information about all the places en route so that you don't miss any gems. their breakfasts are superb with a huge choice. The... Alan and Margaret are very lovely people and made us feel at home straight away and are always there with their helpful advice and useful local knowledge of nature, walking tracks, the interpretation of the cryptic weather forecasts etc. The rooms are very comfortable and generous and every room in the house has a beautiful view of the ocean. There... More

We spent 2 nights in Rumah Kita as we were looking for lodging in the area which could accommodate our group of 6. Rumah Kita attracted us because of the location and 2 showers/3 toilets. The location was indeed good with easy access to Coles bay activities, driving distance from Bicheno and balconies on both floors directly facing the sea.... More

Apologies that Rumah Kita did not meet your needs and that your stay here does not have the happy memories we aim to provide for guests. We cannot accept that the house was filthy though. It was thoroughly cleaned 3 days before your stay, remaining unused in the interim. Recent windy weather possibly resulted is some dust, but inside that... More

Thank you for making my 50th so memorable. Margaret is a wonderful cook and my husband and i were treated to 2 glorious days of fine food and wine in the amazing setting of Sheoaks. I would recommend Sheoaks to anyone looking for a quality B&B in the Coles Bay area.

As well as being fun to be part of a special celebration, it's a privilege too. I think our other guests enjoyed it as well. Thanks for a great evening. More

We stayed two nights, and had dinner with Margaret and Allan on one of the nights. Nice views, property is clean, breakfast is excellent. Would recommend it as a comfortable B&B, the hosts seemed a bit tired and overworked perhaps but not unfriendly.

Margaret and Alan Morgan were the most lovely hosts. They went above and beyond expectations to make us comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights in Dec 2012 and the rooms were lovely and comfortable.
