My wife and I stayed at Edge of the Bay at Coles Bay in late October 2014. We had originally intended to stay across the bay at the lodge in the park but it was already fully booked. Our good fortune. Edge of the Bay is right on the bay and looks across the bay at the park and the... More

Stayed here for two nights, stunning location with bay views and the Hazards. Loved this resort with a restaurant conveniently attached. You could purchase a breakfast hamper but with cutlery and crockery and toaster available we chose to buy our own breakfast supplies. We stayed in one of the ocean view suites, plenty of room with a comfy couch. As... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Resort is located just outside the national park. Great location. Large room and all rooms have a view of Coles Bay. On-site restaurant serves dinner but not breakfast. You can order a breakfast basket or purchase items from Coles Bay.

We stayed two nights over the shoulder period so got a good deal. Beautiful location, with private decking and short walk down to the beach. Restaurant has beautiful view although food was fairly ordinary. Wifi only available at designated area, not in rooms. We enjoyed the Bennetts Wallaby with babies in their pouches coming to say good morning to us.

We spent just one night in an ocean view suite in October. The suite was very nice, but we would have been much more comfortable with a king bed...they only have queen size. The view is amazing, and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. They provide breakfast baskets, and we were fine with that...kind of nice not to have to... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. The cabin was neat and tidy. The decor was beach shack but with the amazing views you have little time to notice the dated decor. The views are stunning, the cabin overlooks the water and you can see the water from the lounge/living area and main bedroom. The kitchen is fully equiped but... More

The lady at reception was fantastic as receptionist and waitress. She was very welcoming, polite and help full. The ocean view unit we stayed in was rather nice, roomy and cosy and suited us to a tee. The only blemish and advice in my opinion would be to replace the outdated sofa and coffee table, that to me is essential... More

Our two room cabin was clean and well presented. Simple kitchen with adequate equipment, washing machine and good bathroom. The resort has free bikes, tennis courts, rowboats and a good restaurant and bar. All of that is fine but irrelevant. The views! Holy moly. Watching the light play over the Hazards from dawn until sunset and even in the middle... More

We just got back from our honeymoon and I can quite honestly say that this restaurant is by far the most amazing one we went to during our travels around Tasmania! We stayed up the road at freycenet lodge but we wish our travel agent would have booked us in here! We only had dinner and we're blown away by... More

Just left our cabin this morning and we are missing our beautiful view already. Previous reviews have stated that prices are high at Edge of the Bay, but we are in a caravan park at St Helens tonight and paying $9 more per night than at Edge of the Bay. Our cabin (number 14) was up the top and we... More
