The rope entrance into the units is ridiculous - what is it for???? The restaurant wasn't open. The fee for staying is completely out of value for that time of year (winter - only 2 units occupied at that time). We found the attitude of the staff on enquiry was arrogant and dismissive. Had the 1st Ocean View suite nearest to the reception. Lulled to sleep by the waves beating ashore and awake to the sound of the roaring ocean with birds chirping. What a fabulous place. So quiet, and the Ocean View Suites are right on the water and blend beautifully into the surroundings. Perfect for exploring the Freycinet Peninsula Delicious continental breakfast included.I believe the restaurant is excellent but was unfortunately closed at that time of year.Chef's need a holiday too. My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this resort. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The room, my gawd, it was beautiful with ocean view. It was quiet too.
