We stayed in on of the Edge of the bay ocean view suites and the views were simply stunning!!! The accommodation was a self catering boutique cottage which is just perfect to kick back and relax in after a big day exploring the area. We wish we had more time there!! Easy access to beach and it all felt very... More

We stayed in a self catering cottage for a couple of nights and would love to have stayed longer! The cottage is clean and well-equipped with magnificent views. Easy access to beach, and we loved that each cottage felt private and secluded. Freycinet National Park just down the road so plenty to do if you don't want to relax and... More

Very pleasant stay at the Edge of The Bay, After driving a long time experiencing many attractions and being exhausted on arrival, we were made very welcome at check in, quickly provided our room and information and invited to make dinner reservations. Vegetarian meals were no problem varied each night and the service friendly, efficient and professional. Family friendly, lots... More

Our party of four adults (two couples) stayed here in two different room types, and we were all completely satisfied. There was a small mix-up in our booking, and we did not get the rooms we originally booked. Nonetheless, the rooms we stayed in, which were not the tip-top rooms, were excellent. They were newly renovated, spacious and incredibly comfortable.... More

Stayed at Edge of the Bay for 2 nights with my family of 6 people. Management gave us rooms next to one another which allowed us to commune between the rooms via the balcony (booked 6 months before the trip). Enjoyed the view by the room's balcony area. Just a minute of easy walk brought us to the amazing view... More

I stayed with friends here recently; and while the rest of Coles Bay was busy and buzzing, we enjoyed tranquility and the natural surroundings at their best. I often describe Edge of the Bay as camping with the luxury of a cottage. You are so close to nature, wallabies at your doorstep, birds all around you and the sound of... More

We wanted to stay somewhere and not be interrupted by noise or other people. This was perfect. We stayed in a self catering ocean view open plan suite. Stacy, light airy and comfortable. The hotel had a restaurant which we ate in and enjoyed the food. There were tennis courts and bikes to use any time we wanted. We, however,... More

This place lets the location do the talking, and doesn't really do much else. They seemed to make you beg for a chance to be fed fairly mediocre expensive food (bookings required/recommended depending what you read, but never a full restaurant), and rubbish collection was a bit lacklustre. Calm and peaceful location though, make sure you find some good weather... More

My wife and I spent 3 days here in an Ocean View Suite. This is the more modern style of accommodation with just a few metres from the magnificent Beach. The view was incredible and the facilities left nothing to be desired. BUT if you are looking for a self-catering facility this is not the one to choose. The Ocean... More

Pump your petrol before driving info Coles bay, the nearest kiosk is a 10min drive away and the prices are jacked up. Your next option would be Bicheno (nice place to consider too) at 30min distance. We stayed in the self-contained cottages and depending which room you get, the side room with only a small window or the main room... More
