I agree with some other reviewers that for the price it would be nice to get a little more (possibly breakfast included). But once we woke up to the view (and wallabies greeting you at your back door) we forgot all about it. Room was very clean (serviced daily) and the bed was nice and comfy. Will definitely stay again... More

Have just spent a great weekend staying in a suite at Edge of The Bay Resort. My wife and I both loved this place and if we're lucky enough to return to the Freycinet area we would definitely stay here again. Our room was modern and comfortable with gorgeous views across the bay to The Hazards in Freycinet National Park.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 20th June. Absolutely fabulous weather for June. Beautiful accommodation with views from the rooms to die for. Short walk to gorgeous beach passing a couple of wallabies on the way. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely. The view from the restaurant during the day would be amazing, but not much at night in the dark.... More

We stayed in a ocean view suite for only one night in June 2014. The room had an excellent view and the staff were very helpful in recommending walks in the Freycinet National Park and also places to eat. We found the Coles Bay area very quiet in June which meant we needed to book ahead for dinners given everything... More

Lonely Planet gave this one a good write up. for the price of $250 per night I was expecting a bit more, robes, fresh milk, jams etc for breakfast. Needs a good gardener as it was needing some TLC - and a sweep with the cobweb brush! Booked into the restaurant and the charming young host and his partner -... More

Edge of the Bay is in a stunning location. A friend and I stayed in a two room cabin, which was located a short walk away from the main reception. The cabins are well appointed, but rather dated and I had expected a bit more luxury for the price paid. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and... More

We stayed in a two bedroomed chalet. The kitchen was very well appointed with lots of extra utensils you would not find elsewhere. The bedrooms were OK, with the second bedroom being quite small. The living area is large with a sofa and then window seats around the edge of the room. The one bathroom that contained the washing machine... More

We were a little early for our room, but the desk was very helpful and stored our Easter eggs in their poolroom (as Tas had actually turned on some sun and heat). The cottage/cabin was spacious, neat, clean, private and inviting with modern decor. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding door out to private sundeck, we had wallabies grazing just... More

This resort is in the best position in the Coles Bay area if you have a car. The views over the bay are spectacular and you are just a short stroll away from the beach. We stayed in a resort room which was pleasantly appointed. A wallaby was there to greet us on arrival, staring through the private deck door.... More
