Stayed in the suite for 1 night, felt it wasn't long enough as it was ridiculously picturesque. The suite was right on the edge of the bay having a view of the water and nearby peaks. The room included a large flat screen TV which was a nice surprise. We were visited by a wallaby with a joey in its... more

My wife and i stayed for only a couple of nights in a resort room. We were fortunate to have some spectacular weather even though it was mid-winter. The view was just fantastic from the room. The Hazards across the water look spectacular all day, but especially in the late afternoon. The beach out the front was great. Plenty of... more

Again we visited the Edge of the Bay, overlooking the Hazards granite mountains across Coles Bay. We prefer to stay in the Cottages with self catering, but the Resort rooms are very good. It is the scenery and position, your own beach, water so clear and diamond blue, sand so white! No negatives with this place...all great! more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Edge of the Bay resort over the ANZAC weekend in a suite. After reading the trip advisor reviews I was expecting bad service, but could not fault the reception, restaurant service, or any of the staff - they were most warm, friendly and efficient. At $244 a night including a $20... more

We booked this hotel on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews. We found no evidence of unfriendly staff - quite the opposite in fact. Perhaps the grumpy employees have left. We stayed in a waterfont suite. These are linked units with outstanding views of the Hazards and a fair degree of privacy. Each unit has decking on which one can shiver... more

The cabin lived up to its billing but for a resort at the high end, little things such as a small bottle of shampoo and condtioner would have made the stay more pleasant. Given the windy conditions, it was a hassle trying to start a wood fire for the bbq. more

There are several great things about The Edge of The Bay. First is the views - incredible. Looking straight across to The Hazards, it would be hard to top them. Check-in was perfunctory and efficient...checkout was distant and the man didn't crack it for a smile or even a single comment or "hope you enjoyed your stay"! We stayed in... more

We stayed here for one night only. We had a cottage which looked out over the sea. There were several cottages, but they are all built so that you can't see into others and they all have fab views. Considering the high price to stay here I was a little disappointed in the decor and comfort of the main living... more

This was an amazing place to stay. The staff at the front desk were very efficient and told us what we needed to know about the place. Our accomodation was a cottage and we were totally blown away by the location of the property. I think there are 13 cottages and the way they are posistion you cannot see the... more

We stayed for three nights at the Edge of the Bay in a secluded cottage. It was excellent. The view was beautiful and the cottage was perfect. We had a bbq and made use of this on one evening, we even had a wallaby hop around as a guest. We also had dinner at The Bay which is the hotel... more
