Freycinet Lodge is expensive, but you expect that because of its position. The accommodation is pleasant, though not startling Both restaurants are disappointing. The main restaurant is certainly overpriced for dinner - I am happy to pay top dollar for top quality but not mediocrity. Breakfast the first day was dried up and inedible ( probably been left under the... More

This is one if the must beautiful locations I've ever stayed at. The impact has been minimalised and you feel v pampered at the same time. The kayaking was a real winner. All round a fabulous experience

Accommodation is nice and well presented but pricing and food from the bistro leaves a lot to be desired. On two separate occasions, the bistro produced two main meals that had no taste, and that's from a guy who's tipsy and hungry. A simple meal with a glass of wine for two people is over $100 and disappointing. Didn't try... More

This was our first trip to this area and it was beautiful. Our lodge (no.10) was spacious and was nicely furnished. We had a shower but no bath. There was music playing quietly from the CD as we walked in to the room which gave you the feeling of arriving in to a luxury lodge. You could see a glimpse... More

Located on the shores of Coles Bay, its a nice place. We only stayed one night which we though was good....in a rustic sort of way. We were a bit tired so opted not to dress up for the restaurant so ate at the bistro. Food was good. View was excellent. Watched a large stingray swimming past. The place is... More

Its well located but when we checked in - I was wishing that we could have had a room at Saffire (which was booked out) - because the feeling in the lobby of what should be (and cost) a 5 star hotel, is that of a motel well overdue for a face-lift. Retirement home interior if I am brutal. Furniture... More

The location of the these lodges is the probably best for access to the park. The restaurant, bar and outdoor seating main building had beautiful views out to Coles bay and we saw some nice sunsets whilst enjoying evening drinks. We had a spa cabin (48) which seemed to be relatively recently refitted to a high standard. That cabin was... More

We stayed here for 2 nights earlier in February & had a lovely time. The lodge was very pleasant with a great bathroom & spa bath (overlooking the bush). The large bed was very comfortable & there was plenty of wardrobe space & a good sized foyer for storing boots & shoes. The self catering facilities were quite limited but... More

We had a near-perfect stay at this remote lodge overlooking a fantastic beach. The views from room 27 overlooked the bay and Richardson's Beach where we walked each morning and afternoon. We watched the manta rays glide under the sea and enjoyed the spa tub, too. Only disappoint was dinner in the fine dining room where service was painfully slow.... More

We booked a "one room cabin" which turned out to be in the forest with no view to the sea and quite dark because of the shade of the trees (it was room nr 24). As my wife had a knee problem and had to stay mostly in the room for the next two days, we asked for a better... More
