I expected a great weekend here whilst on a conference. The setting is truly beautiful. However the decor is getting dated and staff suffer from a big business mentality. I waited to check in for almost 30 minutes as 1 (very nice) receptionist struggled to check in and out multiple guests. Check out was nearly as bad. The room was... More

We stayed 3 nights in a cabin looking out on the Bay and the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful and the views were spectacular. Cabins are comfortable, warm and well equipped with a spa bath and balcony looking out to sea. Staff are very helpful.

Took full advantage of a discount rate offer to enjoy two nights in a two bedroom family cabin. Secluded, quiet with pleasant views over the water. Comfortable beds, excellent shower and plenty of living space. Great being able to tuck the kids away in their own room! Handy kitchenette with hot plates, sink and modest fridge space. Lodge itself cosy... More

We had a great stay at the lodge, stayed in a premium room that was well fitted out and had everything we needed, had dinner at the restaurant there too which was nice and easy for our first night in, great views to accompany a great location, overall had a relaxing weekend away

We stayed one night in March 2015 on our way from Hobart to Launceston. Arriving early to take a hike around Wineglass bay which was fabulous and although it took us around 4-5hours we found the walk relatively easy, some uphill, fabulous views and highly recommended we returned to the Lodge starving...not wanting to spoil our dinner we had a... Definitely a Cabin with a view of the water is worth it! It's the nice cabin in woods kinda thing. No fireplace in cabin, just wish it had that as we visited in winter. Nice welcome cheese platter. Standard accommodation; but value for money. The restaurant is ok: food is good but wait staff could improve.

Staff were excellent and very friendly. We enjoyed a meal in company with a large gathering which was great! Well done to Chris (Chef). Thanks to... More

My family and I totally enjoyed staying in Freycinet Lodge for 4 nights this past week. It was mid winter with a great special that was further upgraded to self catering thank you. I loved the sandlewood conditioner, the king sized bed and the view of the Hazards from my window. Perfectly situated the restaurant is fabulous with sweeping verandah... More

My family and I had 2 nights at the Lodge in cabin 41. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable, however, a couple of features could be improved. The heating was efficient but quite noisy and the bathroom was functional but tired and worn and in need renovating. The kitchenette was adequate... More

This lodge was located very close to the National Parks. We were happy with the size and cleanliness of the cabin but the dining facilities let down this property. We found dinner at the restaurant was good quality but very expensive, service staff were ok. Dining options for dinner are limited in the area but found the meals at Iluka... More
