I was lucky to get a very good 'winter' special deal to obtain a 2 bedroom cabin (even though there are only two of us traveling). If I had paid the full amount quoted for an imaginary stay in October, I would have been extremely disappointed in this. I think it is designed for people who have a lot of... More

The lodge and cabins are located in a national park so you can imagine the serenity. Wildlife around you, cabins overlooking coles bay, simply beautiful. The cabins are fantastic, everything you need, except a Tv. Then again, you don't come to Coles bay to watch TV. My wife and I enjoyed a very elegant meal at the lodges restaurant which... More

In 2007 we have decided go toTasmania for short holidays. Our travel agent recommended to us the lodge,at first it was way too quiet(no tv),but after one day we got used to it and loved.Stay was so tranquil, plenty of nature walks observing local flora and fauna .Evening were magical so quiet and dark and the sky was so starry. No light pollution

There is so much to do in Freycinet and after a lot of friends and families recommendation of the Lodge, we could not have picked a better place to base ourself around. The rooms were cute and cosy cabins with wonderful views. The wine tasting at the lodge was lots of fun and the food and desserts were sensational. In... More

We didn't stay at the resort but booked I for dinner. When I originally enquiries I was told to call back before five to make a reservation as they're were very busy. Called back twenty minutes later and spoke to someone else who informed me the restaurant was fully booked and couldn't fit me in! After explaining my previous conversation... More

This was located right inside the National Park. It was a very pleasant cabin, with attentive staff. Check in and locating the cabin were seamless. The shower pressure wasn't the greatest, that would be my only gripe about our stay.

Obviously not as nice as its counterpart Saffire but this place boasts an even better view. Accommodating staff with decent cabins to stay in. My only gripe is that the wifi service is terrible & they should look at it more closely.

We booked a 2 bedroom lodge as we were told that it had a 'window lounge' - it did not. There was NO television - I just assumed in 2014 that rooms would have them? Apparently RACT has taken over the place, and intends on bringing TV's to the rooms (we can only hope). The Freycinet 'silver service' restaurant was... More

I found this was a wonderful place to stay. The room was private, very tastefully decorated and fully appointed and spotless. The staff at the lodge were very attentive but not intrusive. The restaurant served some of the best seafood I have ever eaten. This was a great place!
