We stayed in a twin cabin for 4 nights (all 6 of us) - the rooms were well appointed however we spent most of our time out and about - the location, beach, staff and restaurant were fantastic and there was plenty to do. We enjoyed the beach, walking, bike hire, tennis court and the peace and quiet - will... More

We stayed in cabin 5 - a deluxe spa cabin for 2 nights in early September. It's position was very good, being not too far from the lodge and with water views. It was clean and well appointed. Dining at the lodge was an excellent experience. The included continental breakfast had a great selection of cereals, juices, fruits, yoghurts and... More

I am South African and love nothing more than staying in a lodge such as this within a game reserve or nature reserve. Minimal disturbance of the natural environment has taken place at Freycinet Lodge and each cabin is beautifully designed to blend in with the plants. The only sounds are those of the birds and the ocean. Each cabin... More

Nice place to stay, we didn't have much of a view though. Restaurant was excellent and we at there on both nights of our stay. The oysters were delicious and the local Milton Pinot Noir was amazing! Some good walks to be had. Overall the room was clean and pleasant to stay in, verging on a little outdated though.

Situated inside Freycinet National Park, the Freycinet Lodge central building overlooks beautiful Coles Bay and is surrounded by roomy, comfortable and well appointed private bungalows set amid native teatree. This is a place to get away from things; there is no wifi, or television. The central lodge has an impressive stone fireplace, comfy chairs and spectacular views. The evening meal... More

Firstly let me say our $400 a night cabin was great. Awsome balcony view over Coles Bay. Great size room with good size bathroom and separate shower and spa bath adjacent to another picture window, overlooking the bay. The Front of house staff at reception were very helpful and friendly on check in and when we walked past for breakfast.... More

We stayed two days and what a great location. We enjoyed our cabin which we felt was comfortable and provided good amenity. It was a disappointment that an old crushed beer can was in the garden of the cabin indicating lack of care by a previous guest. Not very eco-oriented. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant, if... More

Freycinet Lodge was a beautiful resort to stay at - we had a one bedroom cabin, which was perfect for the 2 of us, thought the cabin was a really generous size, the balcony looked out over the bay and the most amazing sunset can be experienced. The restaurant was wonderful - we had the delicious seafood platter for 2... More

After spending two nights in Freycinet, it was clear we had fallen in love with the charm of the peninsula. The cabins overlook Coles Bay which is quiet and great at sunset, and even had a pod of dolphins splashing around one morning. We stayed in one of the more up-market cabins, which had plenty of space and a large... More

My son and I took our very special Chinese daughter and her husband on a quick visit to Coles Bay. From my booking experience with Kathryn to our cosy beautifully clean and luxurious cabins to the excellent food and service we couldn't have asked for more, loved it, the setting the open fires, the special touches - heating and music...
