Villa was perfect - clean, modern, comfortable and peaceful. Owners were lovely people including Hannah who popped in every now and then to say hello (see pic). If you are going to Coles Bay you would be crazy not to stay at Eagle Peaks. Close proximity to Freycinet National Park and local cafes. Unfortunately, the weather deterred us from going... More

Thanks so much for your review. I often wonder whether Eagle Peaks would be the same without 'Hannah (the handbrake)'. She certainly makes an impression. Still stealing socks though so for any future guests be warned, she has her dark side…... More

Great place to stay at Freycinet. Close by to all the action, the owners are very nice, warm, and welcoming and made staying at Eagle Peaks a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend to travellers looking to stay around Coles Bay.

Wifey and I stayed for four nights at the end of October. We stayed in the Beach House and It was very spacious and neat. The kitchen has all you need to cook food if you want to self cater and you can buy food at the convenience store just down the road in the Coles Bay town centre (just... More

Great to hear that you and your wife had an enjoyable stay. I only wish you could have adopted some of the rabbits… They are a real pest. And as for the black cockatoos; stunningly beautiful but extremely destructive. More

We stayed in the Beach House for 2 nights and we were all very comfortable. We had everything you could need, the outlook was beautiful, and our hosts were very accommodating. Wish we could have had longer in this beautiful location.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Beach House for two nights to explore the Freycinet National Park. The location was perfect (very peaceful and quiet) and the house was beautiful - clean, spacious, comfortable and with a lovely view of the ocean (the photos speak for themselves). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We stopped by... More

Hi and many thanks for your in depth review. It's great to hear guests enthusiasm for our beautiful area. Belinda and I recently attended a viewing of the planned development for the Devils Corner vineyard (owned by Brown Brothers). The new complex located on Cherry Tree Hill just to the south of the Coles Bay Road will comprise a new... More

My sister and I were looking for a place to stay for two nights, mainly to relax and explore around freycinet national park. And we found this place few days before our trip which the studio was available! Initially I was contemplating between staying at bicheno or coles bay. But luckily I made the right choice, because this place is... More

Belinda and I are very happy that you discovered Eagle Peaks….. If it wasn't for our fun guests, the hospitality business would be rather dull. I am sure Hannah (the handbrake) agrees. Thank you very much for your review and we hope we might have the pleasure of being your hosts again sometime in the future. More

We were in Studio 2 which was roomy, comfortable and so stylish. Iain and Belinda have produced two wonderful studios and a house. The studio was well equipped and provisions for breakfast were provided. The view across to Frecenet Peninsula is stunning and the wallabies entertained us as dusk fell. We were there for six nights and loved it.

Thanks very much for your review. Judging by your other experiences on the peninsula you made the most of it. The Wineglass/Hazards loop (11.2 kms) remains my favourite after living here for six years and paddling on the bay, provided it's not too windy, is an experience not to be missed. More

We stayed at Eagles Peak for 2 nights as a base to explore the Freycinet, Maria Island, the Bay of Fires and the east coast of Tasmania. The location was perfect and the accommodation was excellent. Many thanks for your review and positive comments. Judging by the 'snaps' posted, you experienced some of our many fury visitors that take a liking to the green grass on our side of the fence. It also looks as if you got to taste some of the renowned local produce. Very glad you enjoyed your stay. More

We stayed two nights at the Beach House at Eagle's Peak. The place was huge, and had full kitchen facilities, that will make an awesome place for families with kids as well. The place is extremely clean, stylish, and comfortable. It was also just a ten minute drive from the visitor centre of Freycinet National Park , and about 10... More

Thanks so much for your review. Well it's the first time that one of our guests has described the Beach House as being 'huge'. It's certainly not a MacMansion however it is very comfortable for either one or two couples (Eagle Peaks does have a policy of not accommodating guests 15 years of age and under). I guessed that there... More

Stayed two nights in a Studio. One of the most stunning views I have ever had from my room ! Gorgeous private room. Decent kitchenette facilities. Continental breakfast provided was basic but lovely: fresh bread (toaster provided), gourmet jams, honey, vegemite, two cereals, milk, gourmet juice, ground gourmet coffee and plunger. Had 10 wallabies within 10 metres of our room... More

Many thanks for your review and thrilled that you enjoyed your stay at Eagle Peaks. Great to have the local wildlife visit to keep the grass short. Only wish the wallabies had better bathroom etiquette with where they dispose of their droppings. Some readers may find the Beach House comments misleading. The Beach House can correctly accommodate up to four... More
