From the moment you arrive, you will recognise the attention to detail and exquisite customer service. This beautiful resort does everything right. From the supreme service given by all of their staff, to the food that is served and presented in an exceptional way, wine that is matched to your meal perfectly and finally the day spa. No other resort... More

Saffire sets the bar very high. Amazing location, accommodation, wine, cheese, activities and meals. Its pricey but when you leave all you can think about is an excuse to return. We cant remember being spoilt to such an extent. Go!!!

My husband booked a night as a surprise to celebrate my birthday June. I was speechless for 1/2 an hour after arriving - met at the car, car was parked and luggage etc delivered to our room while we were given champagne and a tour of the complex. Once in our room, everything was explained, there was a bottle of... More

A group of four of us thought we'd do a quick recognisance tour of Tassie over 4 days for future trips. Started in Hobart at the Salamaca Wharf hotel, then to Saffire at Coles Bay, then to Cradle Mountain Lodge, and finally to Mona Pavillions. Saffire is gorgeous in a unpretentious, relaxed yet elegant way. Staff are exceedingly well versed,... More

My family and friends stayed at Saffire in June to celebrate my birthday. It was a perfect experience, from the food, wines, rooms and tours (the Marine Farm oyster farm is a must do.) The service was impeccable and the team put together an amazing lunch for 25 people. We stayed for three days and could have easily stayed for... More

From the moment we were greeted by the manager when we arrived at Saffire the lodge lived up to all expectations. The rooms were first rate, the restaurant food was exceptional and the location ideal. Our group of five, which included a teenager, enjoyed very minute of our stay. The high-light was the boat trip around Freycinet where we were... More

Over the top experience. We hesitated to book this hotel because of the price. But we would do it again in a heartbeat. We stayed 2 nights (do not try and stay just one night). We were treated like royalty. When you drive up someone comes out to meet you and usher you inside. The hotel is beautiful and the... More

Unbelievable views from every part of the hotel, service that anticipated what we might enjoy before we'd even thought of it, a national park with hiking to die for on the doorstep, delicious fresh food - including great menus for a vegetarian, lovely spa, tasmanian devils to watch. What more could you want? Very special place

Beautiful, quiet, relaxing, welcoming... Saffire goes beyond expectations but is not at all stuffy or over-bearing. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, generous and clearly love what they do. The food is outstanding and a perfect reflection of the best Tasmania has to offer. The spa is like a warm hug. You can spend the days getting out and about... More

Tasmania wasn't even on our radar when we planned our trip to Australia but after reading about Saffire, we had to go. From the second you pull up to that majestic entry till you find yourself unable to leave because there was still one waitress you needed to hug and thank, you are in a magical land where everything tastes...
