What a Spectacular resort. From the private lounge at the airport in Hobart to the great food and beautiful everything. A great way to experience the natural beauty of Tasmania. Above all, the level of service takes the experience over the top.

Stunning in all respects. Starting with the welcome at the Sapphire lounge at the airport, the welcome was Australian friendly and unassuming. The service and staff throughout the whole experience were exceptional. The rooms were luxury personified, the view amazing. I'm running out of superlatives. The dining was exceptional. We chose the degustation menu and matching wines both nights we... More

Visiting from the UK we spent 3 nights at Saffire. Not only is the setting beautiful with views of the Bay and the Hazzards, but the rooms are superbly appointed, each with picture postcard views and total privacy. There are heaps of activities: guided walks, kayaking, boat cruise, oyster farm visit, archery, spa, cooking demonstration etc The restaurant is superb,... More

My wife and I came and stayed here for two nights in December 2013. A quick getaway while living in NZ....I had read an inflight article on Saffire and was hooked. Everyone else has covered the absolute spectacular features of this resort. I would simply add that the price can be just as jaw dropping at first, but, in retrospect... More

We stayed for four nights at this world class resort. Saffire is in a beautiful setting, the rooms are wonderful with lovely views across to the hazards & the beds are so comfortable. The food is incredible, as is the wine! But what makes this place is the staff. They are all incredible. Not all are 'professionals' as such, but... More

Saffire exceeded our expectations and we can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived at Hobart airport ,the highest level of personalised service was showered on us, until the very last moment of our departure. It was certainly all laid on and more! We have never, in all our travels felt so cared for. For instance, when I... More

Don't be influenced by the very old reviews of Saffire-It's a shame that out of date reviews remain when obviously by current reviews any problems that may have occured have been corrected. We had 3 glorious days and from the moment of our arrival until we left the staff made us feel our enjoyment was their only concern. The suite... More

From the personalised welcome, to the amazing food, there is nothing to fault with Saffire (OK - the chess board in our room was set up incorrectly!). I have travelled around the world and never been exposed to this level of service. Make sure you go on the Oyster farm experience even if you don't like seafood. It was an... More
