We stayed here for two nights whilst we attended a local event. The accommodation is very spacious and is set in a peaceful garden setting. Breakfast provisions to cook yourself in the well equipped kitchen are included in the $150 pn tariff as are a variety of DVDs and books. In all a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in Evandale on 2 occasions in March, having previously stayed there at least 5 times. It is very country like, so much so, there was a turkey sitting on day old chicks in the car park, and not at all phased by out comings and goings. There is an abundant vegetable garden with fantastic varieties of tomatoes, which... More

This is a great place to stay to be able to tour the Tamar Valley including its wineries. The kitchen facilities are very adequate to cook meals. The units are clean and it was warm enough to sit out in the garden in the afternoon with a lovely glass of wine and discuss our day. Launceston is about 10 minutes away... More

Lovely accommodation in Evandale, comfortable with generous breakfast provisions. Provided a basket of DVDs to watch, good range. The only concern I had was with cleanliness, it's only a minor concern. The bathroom towels were white with some very unsightly stains. There were freshly cleaned, no issue there, but the stains were off putting.

We stayed in Evandale for a weekend trip to Tasmania. The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed- TV, heater & electric blankets for the cold weather, full breakfast, hair dryer, etc. The cottage was right in the middle of Evandale and only a few minutes drive from the airport. The owners were extremely helpful and the... More

I stayed in the Isabella unit. It was very comfortable and the gardens are beautiful. Reminds me of the English countryside and Evandale certainly has that village feel to it. The owners are friendly and helpful and Evandale is close to the airport and Launceston. A perfect base for exploring Tasmania.

We were two couples on a motorcycling tour of Tasmania. Found ourselves in Evandale on a Wednesday afternoon. We actually parked the bikes (by chance!) in front of the Stables. Our host, Martin, showed us to a comfortable cottage stocked with plenty of breakfast provisions and a basket of DVDs. He recommended the pub on the corner for dinner. Nice... More
