A few points to clarify for future guests . . . as the issues with hot water and lights mentioned are not 'typical' but unfortunate temporary problems. * We discovered the problem with the hot water and fixed a seized valve while these guests stayed. * corridors are all lit with sensor-activated lighting, the trip switch was malfunctioning, this problem...
We loved our time here so much, we are definitely coming back for more. The food is the best we have ever had.... The atmosphere is incredible, the walks on the beach so relaxing. We loved such an amazing place and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Do yourself a favour and "Go " more
Our visit to Hawley House was well worth the drive. The views from our rooms upstairs in the main house were wonderful and were very large clean and comfortable probably the best accommodation of our 2 trips to Tassie and we didn't skimp on our chioces, staying in many upmarket places. Hawley House was a great place to stay with quirky features and lovely hosts. Please do stay at Hawley House, nr. Devonport, Tasmania, for total relaxation and peace. It’s what I’d call a boutique hotel, a little eccentric, and the family so friendly, informal and lovely.
