Stayed here 2 nights over Easter. Quaint little place, more than adequate, very friendly manager, nice breakfast. Good location to watch the Spirit of Tasmania come and go and nice walk along the river. Comfy furniture, small bathroom but adequate. All good. Would stay again.

I've stayed here many times already and Milca always gives me a great rate. The location is excellent - views of the water, close to the parks and CBD of Devonport. The breakfast is reliably large and delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. If I am staying in Devonport for work it is always my first choice.

Just an overnighter and was more than adequate. Lovely old home with features. The property has obviously been renovated in part and appears to be a work in progress. The room we had had received some modernisations which were appreciated. Lovely breakfast. Great value at $120 for two incl b'fast. Definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for work and, for a really reasonable rate in Devonport, found a great place, in a really handy location. I wasn't sure what it would be like but it was a motel / B&B set up, so your own room and bathroom, complete with TV, hair dryer, small fridge, desk, alarm clock, etc. the bed was really comfortable,... difficult to fault this B&B lodge. extremely friendly managers who could not have been more helpful . very clean room, comfortable beds with extra blankets available if needed. perfect quiet position near the water's edge, walking distance to the township. breakfast is very good and made to measure, wonderful cappuccino machine at hand all the time. a little gem of... Very small & noisy rooms. No iron or ironing board. No tea or coffee in room. Empty soap dispenser in shower. Good position but not what I would expect for the money. We were not game enough to try the breakfast.

Just used the guest house for a one night stay, 'Spirit of Tasmania II' from Melbourne one day, stayed the night and 'Spirit of Tasmania I' back the next day. The guest house is within a short walk of the central part of the town, and quite close to two ghastly pubs, and the river mouth is only a few... More

Awesome little place. Right across the water from the Spirit. Our room was almost a tiny apartment. Two massive recliners separate bed room. Parking at the back and rather large entertainment room. Friendly service & great coffee. Highly recommend!

We stayed in July for 2 nights. We had previously lived in Tasmania and knew and very much liked Danny Brogs restaurant, so were very much looking forward to staying at the Lodge. We had a warm greeting from our hostess on arrival. The room appeared clean but there were no towels (these were brought quickly by our hostess). My... More

Fantastic B&B. Our room had new decor and a new, comfy bed. Lovely view and location, convenient to everything Devonport has to offer. Downstairs has a great comfy lounge with a gas fireplace - perfect for us cold northerners. Terrific coffee in the morning and a hearty breakfast couldn't ask for more.
