The units are nice and clean. The owners very different! John very friendly, his wife (don't know her name, she did not introduce herself) the opposite! Two examples which really bothered us; We arrived 2:15pm for check in on a rainy day. The female told us check in was only from 3pm. I told her we did not know so... More

As stated by many, the owners of this property have the monopoly as there is only the pub down the road as opposition. The accommodation was clean and comfortable but very expensive. We paid $170 for one night and then told the breakfast was extra!! Very overpriced compared to all the other accommodation we stayed at during our 7 days,... More

Arrived finding our cabin with warmth from the wood fire heater and goodies of chocolate and port topped off with lovely ground coffee ready to plunge. Absolutely home away from home. All you need and so clean.

THE spot for a stop. This was our third visit after Bushwalking in the area for 3 consecutives years. Lovely atmosphere, lovely owners (willing to pick up cold wet walkers after their days in the bush). Great cosy chalet and studios - all you could need after a stint in the scrub. We will be back next year.

We arrived 30 minutes before check in. We knew which villa we were in. We tried to talk to the Managers and they said come back at 3pm. We had nowhere to go so we went and sat on the outside balcony of the villa we had booked. There was no one there. We were told immediately to leave by... More

Greetings from the Central Highlands of Tasmania, We simply cannot attend to early arrivals if we still have cleaning to complete. Of course, you would know this as you waved your booking sheet at us and watched from the chalet balcony from around 2.15pm whilst we entered the building to complete our tasks. And yes, you were asked to move... More

We were greeted by John who was a delightful host, he gave us maps of where we were going the next day and tips on places that we could stop for walks, which we did. He showed us to our cabin which was spottless ,beautifully decorated, and warm. The complementary port and chocolates was a thoughtful and much apreciated gesture, thank... More

Managed to get a studioapartment at short notice and room was so clean, totally spotless! Staff were so friendly and helpful with things to do around the area. Rooms are well designed, very private even when close to other studio apartments! Lots of attention to detail with lots of reading material in rooms too, great relaxing stay!

Lucky enough to get a Spa Chalet at short notice after a cold change in the weather. Absolutely brilliant! We were greeted by friendly hosts, John and Louise and a warm Chalet with a wood fire, a bottle of Port and chocolates. How good was that!! Will be back. Highly recommend this accommodation.

We always stay here when traveling through this bit of Tassie. Friendly and welcoming. Great location at the entrance to the national park. The rooms are huge with terrific bathrooms and kitchen facilities. 5 minute walk to the hotel if you don't want to cook for yourself. Great value and highly recommended.
