Never in my life have I experienced such rudeness from management ! From the moment we checked in we felt like we were in a prison where we could not do anything but stay indoors! Our children were petrified of such a rude women ! Accommodation was lovely but honestly this lady does not belong in tourism/hospitality ! Spoken to... More

The welcome was efficient and the local information really useful. Complimentary port and chocolates is a nice touch. The location is a great stopover on route to the west of the state. The local hotel is the only option for dinner but is was a good meal. The cabin was spacious with a nice spa bath. Our only quibble would... More

We stayed at Chalet William for two nights. It was a delightful experience. The weather was gorgeous for walking at Lake St Clair. The Chalet was peaceful, idyllic and cosy. Everything you could need; including torch, bath salts for spa, microwave and little stove, complementary port, cutlery and crockery, TV/ DVD, towelling robes, heater and a log fire. Great bed... Very friendly lady who already put the heater on, so it was warm once we arrived. The studio was spacious, clean and even had a washer and dryer. At sunset the wombats came out. Ideal place near the lake! Hot breakfast at next door cafe. Diner at wilderness hotel

I arrived a day early yet host Louise was flexible and accommodating and open to finding me a place for the first night - second night already booked. I stayed in a Studio which incorporates the twin beds, couch, table, TV and kitchen into one space with the shower bathroom in its own room. I was very very comfortable and... More

Very compact studio situated on the Lyell Highway convenient for visiting Lake St Clair. Small kitchenette area with 2 rings. Space was limited and the studio was functional and suitable for a 1 night stay. Check in was strictly 3pm. Expensive for what you get.

Stayed for one night. Angela checked us in and was very pleasant. Next morning we were 30 mins after check out time leaving studio chalet when out of the blue a woman who appeared to be the owner started shouting at us. She continued to address us aggressively without provocation. Never have I nor my mother who works in tourism... More

No good, we were in this chalet only for one night and the chalet is like a prefabricated, also the owner is unhelpful rude and unkind. She sent us off rudely at the hour of the check out and also she did not give us much guidance of the site. The Wi-Fi is only for 100MB and only for one... More

Booked this accomodation through a Tasmanian-based agency for our tour around Tasmania. Due to our tight travel schedule, we could only arrive the apartment at 8pm for check-in, the managerss kept scolding me and my husband for arriving very very late, and said she didn't care where we come from, that we should observe her rules of checking in before... We arrived after a long, damp walk and really appreciated that the woodburner was already on. We had a 2 bedroom chalet - it was very spacious, clean and well equipped. The port and chocolates we were given went down well! The location was great - really close to Lake St Clair and The Wall - and it was a... More
