We spent 3 nights here early June. We were in the Pademelon cottage which was perfect - open plan, woodfire, great beds, adequate bathroom, and kitchen FULLY equipped. We self catered, and cooked each night, we kept thinking there would be something that we'd need - but it was ALL there !.And very clean !. We saw a few pademelons... More

We spent 3 nights in "Buttongrass". Our stay rates as one of our most wonderful holiday breaks in 35 years! We loved everything - the romantic atmosphere, the crafted bed, the rustic timber & beams, the view from the bathroom, the fabulous (and effective) wood fire, the user-friendly kitchen and the ambience of the setting with its privacy, trees, lichens,... This is the best place to stay at Cradle Mountain. Stayed in one of the spa cottages for one night. Was so lovely. Nice open fire with plenty of wood, lovely big spa bath and big snuggly bed. After walking around dove lake in the cold, the fire and hot spa were very welcome. The cottages are very well maintained,... More

This is a true mountain getaway - with all the comfort. The atmosphere is brilliant as is each cabin being in its own bush setting without feeling on top of one another. We stayed in the Pademelon cottage for 2 nights and loved it. The gas fire was perfect for keeping us warm and drying our wet shoes. I would... More

What a gem this place is. We were thinking about staying at a more upmarket place up the road but decided that our budget wouldn't allow for it... and what a great decision that was. I can't give these cottages enough praise -- our stay was honestly the highlight of our trip to Tasmania. We stayed in the cottage with... More

Our fire was already lit for us when we arrived late in the afternoon an Wombat, a studio cabin in this lovely part of the world. We preferred to cook our own meals and stay by the fire, the kitchen was fully equipped. Very comfortable bed and good shower... And shower caps, thank you!! Perfect for a relaxing getaway with... We stayed at Telopea, that's an excellent cottage indeed. After greeting by two friendly staffs at reception, (the lovely lady recommended a nice wine to us too), we reached that wonderful cottage. One night before, we have been informed there was a good weather in Cradle mountain at FB, i.e. such a great customer service. The Telopea is a romantic,... More

We loved our time here. Staff and owners were knowledgable, helpful and could not do enough for us. Wifi is available from some properties. Cross the road at dusk and stroll amongst the wombats grazing on the grass. Our cabin - Teleopia - was warm and cosy, lots of wood for the fire supplied daily, immaculately clean, and with a... More

- No Wi-Fi - The staff is helpful. I arrived at 5pm and he helped to book a night animal tour which start at 5:30pm, which is also a must-join activity. - Full cooking facilities, anyway, my oven did not working. - The area is cold (0 degree in May). The heater, e-blanket and hot bath water worked well. -... More
