Great location and outlook with all the amenities you need even if a bit older and "basic". Friendly Walabies hop around out side saying hello when on your private balcoby. Make sure you dine at the restaurant or at least have a drink in front of the fire in the lounge.

What a great setup and location, private and very cozy I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming, so surprised by some of the previous comments? The room was great with a Spa in the center of the room, cable TV, kitchenette, gas fireplace and also a wall heater, very warm indeed! Unfortunately the food at the restaurant... More

Beautiful, peaceful wilderness village with all of the mod cons you could ask for, even Telstra 3G Coverage was better than home with a full 5 bars of range (so use your personal hotspot with laptop and you're good to go). That was a nice surprise! Lovely and quiet even though there were obviously a lot of others staying in... More

Stayed two nights in a Deluxe Spa Cottage, was absolutely lovely. We were greeted in a friendly manner and offered plenty of information about the area and what to do at reception. Clean, well equipped cosy room, comfortable bed, with the great spa with a view! We caught a big snowfall which was absolutely beautiful. Was worried about heating in... More

We booked 2 night stay and at reception received a cool greeting. No smiles, no how are you, nothing. I asked if the log fire would be on as their website and information wrote about it. But it wasn't on and would only be done if a guest asked for it. The cabin was ok but not warm enough even... More

Stayed for 1 night and was so relaxing. Came to see some snow but sadly missed it. Next time. The cottages are located amongst a lovely bush setting full of wildlife. Possums visit your balcony every night. Our children loved it. We had 2 cottages. 1 had the queen bed in the living area with another room with single bed... More

I purchased a Spa cabin for three nights which cost me a small fortune but i can assure you it was well worth the cost. The cabin was well laid out with more than enough heating for the middle of winter. It had a small kichen with a hotplate, sink and all the utensils needed. Table, chairs and a lounge.... More

We arrived late and tired, stressed because we were out of mobile reception area in the mountains and hadn't been able to contact staff by phone to advise we'd be there after 6pm; only to find a package of keys, maps, suggestions for restaurants nearby and a warm, comfortable and attractive cottage prepared for our arrival. The beds were excellent,... More

Our single night stay at the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village was great. We had chosen a spa cabin and when we arrived on a wet and cold afternoon we found the room heated and cosy. The cabins are set individually in bushland setting and are heated by two heaters, a gas fire in the living area and a bar type... More

We spent a night here and a night at Cradle mountain Highlanders bushman hut. We preferred the studio at the wilderness village!!! It was spacious with full kitchen facilities, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was really clean and being able to park right outside the room was fantastic! Upon arrival at the reception, we told the... More
