We couldn't make our booking because we got stuck in the snow so we called ahead to let them know, as a courtesy. We were perfectly happy to forfeit the booking and the money we paid (in full), but the girl who answered the phone was quite rude about it. She insisted we wait in the snow for the plow... More

So we came to Cradle Mountain in the middle of winter and it rained the whole time. But that's what we expected and still had a brilliant time. The 2 bedroom cabin didn't look much from the outside, but inside it was fairly modern, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well kitted out and the electric blankets were a godsend.... More

We had a spa-cabin for two nights in winter. We stayed at No.33 which was right at the end of the property and provided us with a great degree of privacy (though it must be noted that all the cabins were well placed). Cabin was well-fitted, gas-fire was brilliant and the spar was perfect after a day's trek up cradle... More

Stayed here as it was the cheapest rate compared to other properties and it was fantastic! 2 bedroom cottage for 2. A home away from home. Rooms were heated upon our arrival. Just don't be silly (LIKE US) to turn off the heating during the night or you will feel the cold, especially if there is frost/icy conditions. We left... More

Myself and my wife stayed in one of the spa cottages for 4 days while we explored the area. The weather was fabulous with snow each day and icy cold. The cabin was a very comfortable and warm environment to come home to each day. It was clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. There was gas heating... More

We stayed here for a family celebration. The cottages were well appointed and warm. We all appreciated the heaters being on when we arrived as there was snow outside. The rooms were well equipped and we were surprised to find good TV and mobile phone reception. Our children also liked the playground as well as having fun in the snow.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here whilst travelling around Tasmania. Very beautiful surroundings around all the accommodation sites on the cradle mountain route. This one is particularly good... very good clean, tidy and cosy. TV and dvd in ours (free dvd rental from a selection at reception) electric hobs, microwave oven and an electric multi cooker. Good electric heater in... More

Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village is in a great location to get to the visitor centre where the shuttle buses will take you to Dove Lake and other walking tracks. It snowed while we were staying here - it was very lovely to be right in the middle of the snow and this is why we visited Cradle Mountain. We stayed... More

This place was not for me. Internet was not accessible in your room and it cost $10 per hour to use it in "the office" during the hours of 9am - 5pm. I was on my own and put in a 6 sleeper cabin. The telephone in my room was restricted to local calls for some reason. The restaurant ran... More

Wonderful for couples. The cabins are beautifully appointed and you feel like you are the only ones there. The spa is just the right size for two...turn the lights down, open the blinds and it's just like you are part of nature. There is a choice in heating...gas log fires for when it is really cold and an electric wall... More
