We absolutely loved our experience and stay at the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village. Our cottage was very well appointed, secluded, completely self contained, had incredible views and was exceptionally comfortable. If you're on a budget, suggest you purchase some breakfast and/or lunch things in a nearby town as the cottages have everything you need to cook meals. We bought groceries... More

Booked into this lodge to have a break from our campervan, paid the extra for the spa cabin and it was worth every penny. Gas fireplace heated the place up in no time, another quite wall heater for overnight and electric blankets on the king sized bed. Bathroom was clean and modern with a decent sized shower head. The spa... More

We spent a little extra to get a spa room , which was very nice. Clean, modern, plenty of space, and good bed and bathroom. So peaceful. Onsite Restaurant was good and friendly. Really enjoyed seeing many Wombats (and a baby) on the flats at Ronny Creek flats RHS

Very private spa cabin with nice facilities, neat and tidy and I'd say very clean If I was going to pick anything as a negative just be prepared for the water having a brown tinge that's very noticeable when you fill the spa bath up and that's even after the bubbles are bubbling

My husband & I spend 6 nights here as part of our honeymoon. I can honestly say it is one of the most wonderful properties I have ever stayed at. The spa cottage was beautifully designed & decorated. The location is perfect - right near the entrance to the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. I found the fact that... More

Gosh, I didnt know we can be so closed to the wild animals when staying here. My kidz overjoyed when they saw Wallabies, Rednecked. Great experience. We went to the night feeding tour that pick us up from the reception area. Good to learn more about the animals and their behaviour. Do bring touchlights because the rooms are far from... More

This review might be slightly biased because it was snowing and it was amazing! But in all seriousness, the room was comfortable and warm. There were adequate blankets on the bed. The heated towel rail was a nice addition, underfloor heating would be even better. The breakfast hampers provided by the restaurant were basic - it would be better to... More

We stayed with our four kids in a two bedroom unit with four bunks in one room, queen bed in another. We found the Wilderness Village clean and comfortable, with good but limited kitchen facilities. The kids loved the visiting possum and other wildlife that came to our verandah nightly. Be warned that the restaurant doesn't open each night and so... More

We stayed at Cradle Mountain Wilderness Village for three nights. Our cabin (number 30) was clean and comfortable, and we had a very relaxing stay. The beds were comfy to sleep in and there were adequate blankets to keep us warm in the night. The kitchenette had sufficient equipment to cook family meals easily. The bathroom was perhaps a touch... More

My wife and I spent 6 nights in one of the spa chalets as part of honeymoon and had a great experience. On the recommendation of the booking agent we asked for one of the newer chalets on check in. Once we got to the room, it lived up to the photos. The positioning of the chalets ensures that they... More
