Stayed in a pencil pine pond view cabin. Room quite comfortable but bathroom updated poorly. Just not deserving of the Peppers brand that has a reputation with delivering a much higher standard. Breakfast was quite good . Wifi available only in the main lodge and limited. Enjoyed our stay but expected better. Cradle mountain amazing.

Very outdated rooms & service. Exclusive pricing with very old outdated rooms, I had the spa suit with no TV or Internet?? I know we all need a holiday without communication, that's why we go camping not paying exclusive room prices. Food was nice in the highland restaurant, A fantastic location, this is what the visit is all about. Recommended... More

That was a quote from a staff member. Unfortunately they did not. We had a spa suite, at $600 a night I thought the place would be reasonably exclusive with good attentive service but that was not the case. The place trades on its location, the surrounding scenery and wildlife, all of which are excellent. It is quite a buzz... More

Fantastic accommodation, efficient friendly hard working staff and great food in wonderful location. Not the cheap end of town but well worth it. Walks, wildlife and views. Wood heaters set to go when you return from a cool day outside. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Will come again

Had such a nice stay at this hotel. Visited with my husband and 18month old son who especially loved seeing the wallabies who came right up to our cabin. We stayed in one of the cabins which had a hot tub on the deck and although it was a cold night we all enjoyed relaxing in it. We especially lived... More

I've just returned from a two week tour around Tasmania which included a two night stay here. It was was to be a highlight of our trip, sadly it was far from it. Our group of 10 were housed in the standard cabins but upon approaching you realise that this is not the majestic lodge shown in those heavily artistic... More

We stayed end of March 2015 in a Contemporary Spa Cabin steps away from the main lodge but nicely tucked away for privacy. Wildlife all around, peace and quiet, fresh air, enchanting trails, easy access to Dove Lake and surrounding areas. Reasonable food variety given the location with nice local touches. Restaurant serving staff working on “auto” mode, but since... More

I was disappointed in my stay at cradle mountain lodge. Despite gorgeous setting and ok facilities, the service was clunky particularly around food service. I expected more for the price. For example, dinner on the first night was close to last orders in the tavern, but the meal was over cooked and inedible. The following night in the restaurant, our... More

Wasn't sure what to expect of a lodge so close to a national park. Our cabin was nice - fireplace, LARGE bathroom and port/cookies to enjoy. The cabins are in the woods and we saw a wombat when we arrived...cute little animals. The best part of the stay was the staff....they were outstanding here - very helpful offering ideas on... More

What a diamond in the wilderness. Friendly staff make this place as does the food, atmosphere of both the Highland Restaurant and the pub crub bar, whichever takes your fancy. The spa room is so romantic, fire lit for your arrival, complimentary port and chocolate chip cookies, and a wonderfully comfortable bed to boot, this place has it all. Just... More
