Stayed for two nights in a pencil pine cabin, very cosy and comfortable , staff were very helpful and approachable and helped and guided us with good information around Cradle. Breakfast very good and we had one evening meal in the tavern and one in the restaurant both good staff friendly. If wanting to use Waldheim spa book ahead before... More

We visit Cradle Mtn a few times a year and usually stay elsewhere. This time we thought we would give Peppers a go. Getting a 'locals' special on a Pencil Pine room we were looking forward to experiencing what we've always believed to be a 'Peppers' experience. What we got were dirty unchanged sheets (changed twice until they found a... More

We have stayed at CM Lodge a number of times over the past 20 years, and I was pleased to see that the Pencil Pine cabins have had a makeover - gone is the preponderance of timber (which was OK in its day, but now dated), replaced with clean, modern decor. The wood burning fire had also been replaced with... More

Awesome.. well worth the money.. very comfy bed.. awesome spa bath.. the best bit outdoor hot tub was everythinh you want it to be.. Advice would be to ask them to make it cooler as they will if you ask as its set at 34 degrees at all times..!! Watch out for the cheeky possum that chased out of the... More

We arrived at the Cradle Mountain Lodge to find the fire burning in our in our Pencil Pine cabin. The room was modern and spacious. Our our cabin was only a short distance along the board walk to our lodge. We did the Dove Lake circuit tour with provided Ben who freshly baked cookies and tea half way along the track.... More

We stayed at Peppers lodge recently for our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel was warm and inviting and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It was all roaring wood fires, deep leather armchairs and ancient wooden beams. The room (we stayed in a King Billy) was spacious and well appointed yet cosy and inviting. Every day... More

Treated my wife to a two night stay in a King Billy suite for her birthday. She had never been in the snow before and the mountain really turned it on for her, plenty of snow cover and beautiful clear days. The hot tub was a hit with her as was the excellent meals at the restaurant and the friendly,... More

I spent 2 nights at Peppers last week. Having originally booked the Contemporary Spa Suite my BF and I decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade to the King Billy. Twice the price even with a discount but worth it for the log fire, hot tub and privacy. We made friends with the local wild life that was keen to... More

Friendly locals excellent service rustic Tasmania Wilderness luxury. Very romantic. Fireplace. Balcony, large spa. Pristine Forest, lakes, waterfalls and hiking trails. Next to the national parks. Plenty of wildlife - paddymelon wallabies and wombats. Excellent food in restaurant and for breakfast. No internet true wilderness, so forced me to switch off the phone!

Lovely cabins with a good environment and a lovely heater. We really enjoy the natural environment and within a walking distance for Short walks close by the cabin. Breakfast and dinner were great with a real fireplace to warm us up in the cold. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Also they have surprised us with a bottle of sparkling... More
