Stayed at Peppers with my son during a round Tassie trip and would have to say the place was fantastic! The room was very comfortable and well appointed which included a high quality mini bar selection that had some great Pinot's on offer. The balcony was visited by many birds and a friendly wombat was often in sight. We had... More

Beautiful spot. The rooms could do with electric blankets. It poured while we were there which couldn't be helped. I find tho that there's hardly anything to entertain you when you can't walk around. No internet in rooms. Charge you with using wireless and it can only be used in their tavern. No music either which made it dull. Had... More

We stayed at Peppers on the 7th & 8th August for my 50th birthday... We splashed out and stayed in a King Billy Suite... No regrets .. The cabin was great, a lovely view, open fire, private hot tub on the deck... A nice place to hang out.. But it was the service and food that surprised us the most,... More

Stayed at Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge for three nights in a Pencil Pine Cabin. Warm, comfy and beautifully quiet. We arrived in a blizzard that made us feel as though we were really in the wilderness. Very thankful we were in a 4WD! Warm and friendly greeting at reception made us feel very welcome. Delicious Tasmanian food and wine in... More

The room was warmed for us upon entry and outside the snow was falling. A positively magical place in winter. Our room was one of the pencil pine cabins with a balcony overlooking the main lodge and the lake. There was no television or wifi in the room so utter relaxation was in order especially after long cold days outside.... More

We treated ourselves and stayed for 3 nights in a King Billy cabin - and what a treat it was. When we arrived, the heater was on in the room, the fireplace stacked ready to be lit, the hot tub was going and the heater was on in the bathroom. Shortly after we arrived, we were delivered a plate with... More

*If you get a chance to plan ahead, approach Cradle Mountain from the western coast - so much more pleasant drive than from the east* Typical July/August weather - rained most of the time we were there...but the last 24 hours we were there it snowed! So happy to finally experience it. The facilities at the restaurant/lounge were great. Also... More

Stayed for two nights in the pencil pines cabins. Very spacious cabins and plenty of room. They have a nice little gas fire to sit and read a book while relaxing after a day of long walks. The lodge is very cosy, big lounge area to sit next to the crackling wood fire and enjoy a pint of wizards ale... More

This is the second time we've stayed at Cradle Mountain Lodge, although the first since it became a Peppers resort. While it has changed hands, nothing else has changed - which is fantastic. Still the same warm, cozy main lodge with open log fires and lovely atmosphere. We stayed in a Spa Suite this time and I must say having... More

My wife and I spent two nights here for our honeymoon, I have to say the setting is wonderful. We had a private spa suite with a wonderful view of the woodland. Now, bear in mind that we were both sick as dogs with a cold/flu virus, but we had a lovely time either way. The food provided by the... More
