Receptionists were rude, unable to answer questions about what to see and activities in Cradle Mountain National Park. They did not know how the schedule, price or route of the Shuttle bus from the nearby Visitor Tourist Information centre. (a tourist information centre on the other side of the Island had told us that we could save the $60 National... More

I stayed here one night before my visit to the Cradle Mountain National Park. It was the most expensive of all the parks I stayed in during my trip in Tasmania, but it was worth it. The location is amazing and we could see a wonderful sky at night. The facilities were beautiful to look at, all chalet-like, and the... More

We stayed in a standard cabin which was a bit dated but reasonably clean. We paid $318 for two nights, not particularly good value but probably the cheapest accommodation in the area. There was basic kitchen equipment, a microwave, two burner cooktop with small oven and grill under. The electic frypan was not non stick, there was no other frypan.... More

We stayed here at the last minute as it was a bit too rainy to camp in the area. We opted for a share room in the hostel portion of the Park. We got the room to ourselves as it was not busy in the least. We paid $32/night each which seemed a bit pricey for what we ended up... More

We stayed, with a baby, in a basic cabin. They were no frills but cosy, warm, good cooking facilities and fantastic location to the park. The entrance is directly across the road from the caravan park. In relation to other accommodation in the area it was good value for money because everything in the area is very overpriced.

Stayed in a cabin for 2 nights - was perfect for what we needed. Heated up nicely after a long day hiking. Only a short distance from the Information Centre. Good kitchen. A simple cabin with everything you may need for a couple of days at Cradle Mountain.

I visited Cradle Mt. with my family and accommodated at Discovery Holiday Parks Cardle Mountain for only one night. Staff is very friendly and nice, we booked Economy family room which is cozy, clean even it is tiny. We can cook in the shared kitchen which is very well equipped. You can enjoy wildlife at night when you just step... More

We had 4 nights here on a powered site. Our site was perhaps a little small as we could not fit the camper trailer and the car on our site, but we were very close to the amenities, so it is a case of give and take. The amenities are a little tired but the water in the shower was... More
