We were booked in for three nights, and some people we met thought that was a long time to be in the middle of nowhere..... at the end of the stay we definitely couldn't agree because it proved to be one of our holiday highlights. The staff are very attentive and are very knowledgeable about the area. For example, we... More

I stayed with my wife and 2 kids for one night only (unfortunately), We booked interconnecting suites. This was fantastic. The rooms were toasty when we walked in. Always a welcome greeting. Clair was great from reservation to check out. A real asset! We loved the boat trip and Mother Nature turned on the snow for us as well. Thanks... More

Everything about our lakeside cabin was perfect. As were arrived late the fire, heater and heated towels rails were already on and very welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay here, it was very comfortable and had high quality fixtures.

An idyllic setting and a warm welcome received upon arrival. My husband and I stayed for a few days in April. We found the standard of the service to be very warm and welcoming and the standard of the food to be hearty and wholesome. If there was something that we think could be improved, it was that the portions... More

Arrived to friendly staff, our lodge was gorgeous, if I could complain (I as a girl would like a full length mirror in the wardrobe). Dinner was awesome both nights & Sam was attentive, polite, very accommodating and friendly. Will happily recommend a stay at Lake St Clair Lodge!!

I and my three friends could not fault this lodge. They have got everything just right - lovely comfortable rooms, hearty food, friendly obliging staff and the resort setting is perfect. Would go back in a heartbeat.

This is truly a unique resort. The setting is absolutely beautiful, the service excellent and the attention to detail fantastic! What makes it even more special are the people. Every single staff member is proud of what they are doing. They are friendly, helpful, efficient and always available. The food was delicious and just what we needed after our walks.... More

For us the lodge really was about being located close to the walking tracks for the national park and having very comfortable beds and showers to come back to at the end of the day. Our cabin was really clean, warm and well maintained. We found the food quite good considering it is very remote and not easy to continually... More

Lake St Clair Lodge is located adjacent to the walking paths at the southern end of the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. Just spent a few nights at Lake St Clair Lodge and stayed in a lakeside suite. Simply put we were impressed. We found our stay here really comfortable and the staff more than accommodating of our needs. The food was really well cooked and of a standard that we expect to receive here in Sydney. My friend ordered the gnocchi... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide comments on your experience with us. We are starting to reset the kitchen team and have been fortunate to obtain a head chef from Sydney. This will extend to making our own breads and pastas on-site. The gnocchi was home made, and we agree, very delicious. We look forward to continuing to... More

This is an example of squandered potential. Brilliant location, infra-structure is good - accommodation, dining area etc fine. Service poor, food very poor - care factor low. For the price and for Tasmania's tourist image it is just not good enough. We booked a spa suite with a lake view and the accommodation itself was OK. There needs to be... More

Thank you for taking time to provide a review. It is unusual that someone who is genuinely interested in promoting the interests of tourism in tasmania would choose to use a social media forum to address a concern, as opposed to raising issues directly with the site during the visit so that they could be adequately addressed. We do hope,... More
