Good mid range hotel room clean and comfortable staff friendly and helpful. you need to up date your photos though as they are very outdated. Can get a bit noise from then road and port on both sides.

The rooms are a little dated but reasonably clean except for the shower & bath that needed a good scrub. Came back from breakfast to find one of our beds made and the other untouched. Breakfast was ok, but like a lot of the hotel, a little more care with details is needed. It has potential to be a basic... More

Lame menu. Large (main course) plate of pork ribs for $37???!!! Why, that's almost the price 'The Black Cow Bistro' would charge for Top-of-the-Range Wagyu Beef!!!! For that price I expected to see a feast! Overflowing plate of ribs stacked high (at LEAST two racks), cooked to perfection, seared on the hot grill to give it that nice bbq'd flavour,... More

I often stay at the Comfort Hotel for business , The staff are warm and inviting and have great knowledge of the area. The rooms are up to date and modern , Mini Bar is well stocked , Bathroom could use a bit of a re-grout though. Was excited to eat here as I did the last time at the... More

Comfy bed. Friendly staff at service desk. Good location with off street parking. Rooms are dated but clean. Breakfast included. Good value. The lift is a little scary and seems to have a mind of its own.

I wouldn't stay here for more than one day and I wouldn't choose to pay nearly $17 for toast I cook myself, lukewarm tea and a table full of others dirty dishes. Just back from Europe and even the smallest hotel in the smallest villages knew how to make breakfast a pleasure rather than a chore. Very disappointed!!

Thank you for your feedback. We were over whelmed with breakfast on that morning and now have new staff and procedures in place to rectify this issue. Regards Jane More

Really clean and tidy room. Quiet too, considering that it is close to the highway. Staff were very helpful and let us check in a little earlier. Breakfast is included in the rate until the end of 2015 which is a bonus.

I stayed here recently on a business stopover. The rooms are basic style but the bed was comfortable, clean & the room modernised. Front check in staff were extremely helpful, going out of their way for me, something I regard highly. Dinner in the attached restaurant was delicious & could be charged to the room. I requested a late checkout... More

Driving in to Burnie you cannot miss this 4 storey building which is painted an unpleasant shade of yellow. The whole building is stuck in the previous century and is in need of an upgrade. The rooms are quite small with nowhere to sit except for the bed. An attempt has been made to modernise them with new paint, wall art... More

Stock standard hotel which is a little pricey because of the lack of choices in Burnie. A lot of work was being undertaken during my stay so it would be interesting to see the finished product. Passable.
